This is the 7th revision and latest revision of the SB7 and it no longer has the light diod in the middle of the speaker as the previous revision 6 had. So far for unknown reason amazon has not let us change the photo. The T has been dropped from the product name to just shorten the name. The Spirit Box still has the ATDD (automatic temperature deviation detection) which the T stood for. ATDD is an alert that goes off when the temp changes by +/- 5F. All the other functions are there as well. New is that the Rev 7 has a half frequency step between each frequency which allows for more and clearer communication to come through. Also an extra fast sweep rate of 50ms has been added. As before it scans from 76 mHz to 87.9 mHz which is a wider range than other similar devices. You can choose between FM and AM It uses 3 AAA batteries which are included.

I opened it (it comes w batteries) and put the batteries in and turned in on and immediately a girl said help. I tried this in my room and i ran out of my room. LMAO

Great piece of gear. It’s the opposite of bulky, screen is easy to read and in a good layout, buttons and antenna feel sturdy. It runs properly (picks up fm/am, and temp, top light works, scanning functions work)

This is not a cheap plastic knock off. It is very nice quality. I do recommend, however I recommend buying a speaker with it. I also don’t remember if it came with instructions but it should because I am struggling figuring it out. It’s worth the price point and it’s a good size as well. It comes with a little carry pouch too.

It's super simple to use, but you should read the instructions because some features require holding a button down to get it to work and that was too big brained for me, apparently. You may also want a headset because the speaker is hard to understand. I've spoken to some spirits a few times, but I have the worst luck on this pulling some crap I REALLY don't want to talk to in my city so my sessions are all of 3 mins before the haunted dolls tell me to shut it off. Or they just secretly hate me. Just be careful with it and what you're inviting into your house.

I'm excited to finally have one of my own ITC devices for my experiments with the Estes Method. However, I was stunned at the quality of craftsmanship, or total lack-thereof, in this supposedly updated model. It feels like the plastic could shatter with one drop, and the batteries BARELY squeeze into the compartment. I had to manipulate the coiled wire in negative post bed, just to get the last battery to set in deep enough, to close the battery compartment panel. Additionally, I'm kind of surprised it's battery powered at all, rather than rechargeable, at this stage in tech standards. Overall, it works as its functions intend it to in terms of sweeping frequencies; I just wonder for how long, under these manufacturing specs. For nearly $100, I expected this WHOLE product to be a much sturdier, mindfully-made design. Kind of feel robbed, and wish I'd done a DIY hack of a better radio

I have been sensitive to spirits for most of my life and I have suspected something has been with me for a long time.I did a paranormal investigation not too long ago and made contact with several spirits in that building, making me much more interested with investigating and my own spiritual sensitivities.I decided to buy this device to find out what is with me. It confirmed it has followed me since childhood, I asked if it knows I’m sensitive to spirits and I got a very clear, “yes.” I also asked it to leave to which it said, “leave,” when I asked if it was going, it said, “out.” All of this was the same male voice. It also said, “I’m sorry.” It gave a name, but that was the only thing I was unsure of, it sounded like Peter. I’m not sure if he is gone, but he has never bothered me, I have simply sensed someone. Anyway, now it is confirmed.I’m going to use this spirit box during another investigation in a couple weeks.Definitely worth the money, read the guide book before using and it’s very simple to use. Excellent device.

Maybe I got a defective one, I don't know. I hate leaving bad reviews.It doesn't scan through radio stations properly. Tons of radio interference. The battery keeps going up and down. The temperature gage goes up and down as soon as you turn it on, never staying stable. Even after resetting.The sound quality is terrible an inaudible due to fuzz, not typical static. It's normal for SB7s to be quiet without a speaker, but that's not what this is. My noise gate pedal/reverb pedal doesn't work with it.I've owned 3 of these things. I keep misplacing them lol. I've never had a these problems. In fact, when I first started using an SB7s I was even more skeptical than now, but I was blown away when I started using them. My other ones had pure static on FM radio. You can sit for an hour and get nothing but static or 10 mins and get seemingly direct/ multiple answers at the right location. I'm still hugely skeptical of them, but if this one was my first one I'd immediately call it bull and not give in another chance.But hey, the flashlight works!
This thing is a must have for those who believe in spirits
I purchased this for my 12 year old daughter for Christmas, and we have been absolutely dumbfounded by its accuracy and shocked with what we've heard. For us believers, this was well worth the money! It's clear, it picks up clear words even where we live (I was worried where I've never had great reception to listen to a radio where we live) but it works excellent. Even better with headphones. We've had messages come through from my daughters nanny who passed away, we've heard things that totally shocked us because of the accuracy. It's a cool piece of equipment!I will say though, I don't reccomend buying this for a young child. It can be scary, and we have picked up some swearing on it as well. Otherwise, it's pretty awesome!! We even have friends that are non believers believing! Better to take to a graveyard or to an abandoned house, I won't let my daughter use it at home anymore lol. I can do without the fear of knowing what spirits are in or attached to my home! Haha, enjoy.
