Quality fusion splicer. Tested 10 splices without any failure. All the accesories are great specially the cleaver. I had 2 other cleavers (only used a few times cheap versions) this worked great right out of the box, does great cuts compared to the others.

For the money, its hard to go wrong with this thing. I bed its paid for itself already just in time savings. Fraction of the cost of a Fujikura and just as easy to use. Time will tell but after about 100 splices, its still going strong. Just don't let the battery get too low.

Can say that the machine does it job, from time starting to use the machine in November last year 2021, I have purchased a 2nd machine but as notice the single battery come with the machine don’t last long icon has 4.cells on battery on both machines in 2-3 weeks after a full charge get 3-cells icon. How can I get good batteries for the two machines?

Handle snapped off the top of carrying case second day of use, fiber spliced as expected without any issues. Provided cleaver works but just ended up scrapping and ordering a CT-30. Bought this device to use on outdoor work so as to not use my Fujikura’s, if something happens only out a grand as opposed to several 😀.

We bought this splicer 18 months ago and used it sparingly over time. It started out well and we spliced our first 20 fibres with no issue. But that did not hold up. The device degraded quickly over time and it takes more time to do splices than when we started. (issues with aligning). So we have done maybe 260 splices and it has now totally crapped out. Camera does not allow you to align fibres. Splicing module wants you to get fibres ‘closer’ even when they are touching.Resetting the device (which used to help) does not help anymore.No real help from tech support – other that video links and images that are not usefulIt is supposed to be rated for 50,000 splices but we are not even close to reaching that before it crapped out.My Advice – save your money and time. Do not buy and you will probably give your heart a few more years
