For the measly price this asks for, they sure give a lot of oats. Tastewise I can't tell the difference between this and oats that costs double or triple of what this costs. It cooks quickly so I have enough time to cook this for breakfast before going to work. If a manufacturer sees this please start offering an organic option.

Bought quick by mistake last time. What a dif old fashioned oats are. Not mushy, bland. Good bite, you taste the oat and actually enjoy it even at dinner (I'm alone so I'm allowed) or snake I add vanilla seed or a mix of nuts and seeds any fruit whatever. And it cooks almost a fast as the quick oats...add brown sugar cinnamon.

I eat oatmeal nearly every day. I settled on steel cut oats because I love the texture. I use my Ninja Foodi to cook them in minutes. 1 cup oats, 2 1/2 cups water, high pressure for four minutes, natural release. Doubling the recipes yields the same result... 2 cups oats, 5 cups water, four minutes high pressure. Steel cut oats have gotten more expensive over time, I guess because it takes extra processing. I used to use Bob's Red Mill. Happy Belly is a very good alternative and much cheaper.
