I add them to pasta sauce just for extra flavor and to stretch the sauce a bit. They are not too spicy so I wouldn’t worry about that.I have used other brands as well but the quality of Bolo is superior because I find the tomatoes less acidic than others. They are also firmer, not hard, but firmer than others. This is perfect for me. Especially if I’m putting it in a sauce and cooking it for a bit they don’t disintegrate into the sauce (something to keep in mind when brand comparing for quality).I also make salsa out of it for chips!! Always make the house smell great! Definite recommend!

I never thought of using canned tomatoes in a fresh garden salad. But I didn't have any fresh ones and these were sitting in the pantry, so I thought I'd give them a try. So often I get fresh tomatoes and am disappointed. What a great surprise these were! I could eat them out of the can. I love the smoky flavor. The only downside is, if you're watching your salt intake, canned products of course have lots of salt. But with delicious taste, decent consistency even for a fresh salad, and a low price, I'll find a way of integrating them into my diet. Thanks Bolo!
