White color temperature is adjusted from about 3K-6K Kelvin by increasing or decreasing the relative intensity of the two LEDs in each pair. One LED in each pair is actually a 3K (yellowish) Kelvin LED and the other LED is a 6K Kelvin LED (blueish). I was afraid the strip would look like a string of yellow and blue LEDs, but in reality the color temperature control works very well and gives a very good rendition of various color temperatures between the two extremes, and it's fairly hard to see "yellow" or "blue" when you look at the strip directly (though a discerning eye will pick up the slight differences in color temperature between the two LEDs.The remote is actually of pretty amazing quality considering the price of this set. Where most of these LED strip comes with one of these very cheap remotes with a multitude of bubble buttons (not really buttons, just a bubble in the plastic) that sometimes work and sometimes don't, and almost always fail over time, this remote looks and feels remarkably like a Roku or Bolo Fire-stick remote. There are real soft-touch buttons. The buttons are well thought out and allow easy customization of the light strip without tons of redundant or needless buttons.A nice feature is the light strip has a memory and turns on with the settings in place when it was last turned off.The strip is attached to a clean smooth surface (such as that under a kitchen cabinet) and the adhesive seems to be fairly good. I've only had my strip installed for about two weeks, but there is no sign of them beginning to peel away from the under cabinet surface.I used this strip under cabinet in my officer where I have a couple of 3D printers, several photo printers, a microscope, etc. all of which needed more light to work with. They are working out perfectly and my wife already wants me to install more under our cabinets in the kitchen. I plan to wait another few weeks to see if they continue to work properly, but assuming they do, I plan to buy at least two more sets.

When I was looking for temperature changing LED strip lights that were around 40 feet long (yes, very specific, but that's why I was looking around) I stumbled across this LED strip. It is nice and bright and the remote can control it no matter where you point which is also a plus. I was really looking for something like this ALSO with RGB, but I found that this was good. I really wish it was USB powered, but I do understand that when it comes to this many LED's and the fact that they are bright that it is preferred to go with a standard barrel connector. The only thing I wish was better was the adhesive, because I stuck it on my wall and after a couple of days it started peeling off and drooping, also I had 1 single yellower colored LED that just didn't (not much of an issue). I do want to make it clear that my wall is textured and the box does say not to put it on textured walls which is why I didn't really knock it down points for that. I just used some other sticky tape and it did the trick just fine. If you need 40 feet of LED's or whatever the other options are, I would recommend these light because they are also easy to set up.

These lights are a great addition to any room, especially if it is a room that has no light sockets, but there are some drawbacks. I've had these lights for about 8 months when I wrote this review. I'll outline some pros and cons.Pros*This light can be put up in any room with an outlet.*Covers rooms that are approx 100 sq/ft.*Remotes work with individual rooms so you can have multiple rooms with lights in them.*The remote is quality and about the size of a typical tv remote.*Plenty of lighting adjustments from warm to cold as well as diming abilities.*Comes with hold downs in the event the surface is not feasible for adhesion.*Power cord is 5-6 ft.Cons*The adhesion could be better. It can tend to come off of the surface after the lights heat up a bit. I would recommend cleaning the area that you are going to install the lights really well in order to aid in adhesion otherwise you are going to have problems.Overall the pros outweighed the cons. I have since bought 2 more of these for 2 other rooms that didn't have lights installed in the room.

I cannot talk about longevity, but I am very happy with this light set. We have a foyer closet that the builder saw fit to install an outlet, but not a light... This light string sticks well to the inner door frame (after cleaning painted surface with alcohol) and covers from one side to the other completely. The amount of light and color options (cool to warm) are perfect. I used sticky backed hook & loop to stick the remote control to the inside of door frame, so it is easy to turn on and off. This is not a motion sensor string, but I did not need that. It was so easy to install and I am pleased with the value, so far. I also like that this is connected to an outlet, instead of requiring batteries. It fits my needs and we will see if it has a long lifespan.

Used to light the stairway going into our basement and these work great!I love that you can select different shades/tones and we get compliments all the time on how much people love the level of warmth and brightness going down a dark staircase!We've had them for about a year and have had no issues with them working so I'd say they are worth the money!

I’m thoroughly impressed. The setup was simple and quick—just peel, stick, and plug in. The adhesive backing is strong enough to hold the strip in place, even on textured surfaces. The remote control is extremely durable and works from pretty far across the room.

I like the remote, way better than those cheap/ugly looking ones. I had to return it because it wasn't bright enough for my application. I thought I could light up a room with 40 feet, but it wasn't enough. More for ambiance lighting. Awesome customer service.

Worked fine at first but after only 2 month the LED occasionally flickers and changes color by itself. I rarely even used it. Quite disappointed.
