For the price, it fit our needs. We used them for a painting project at church with children. They worked well. They probably can only stand one more use and washing but they were cheap enough to replace.

I bought these because I thought I was going to need a new brush to spread glue each time I wanted to use my glue. They do spread glue beautifully. Then I found a way to remove the glue from my brush so I don't need a new brush every time. {Soak in Isopropyl alcohol n then scrape the glue out.} I'm a painter also and these brushes are a good enough quality that they've now gone into my paint box. Not really sure what I'm going to do with 28 of them, but I bet as time wears on my brushes they'll be used. If you're looking for brushes for kids or adults, I highly recommend these.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I chose this set of brushes because it’s a good size for painting words on cardboard signs at protest against the Trump administration and the GOP. What I don’t like about them, however, is that the handle is very flimsy plastic.
