Other vacuums can go for 3 and 4 times the price. This was easy to set up and works like a charm. Plugs right into the pool skimmer and started sucking up my dirt right away. I would buy again!

I did a lot of research before buying a vacuum for my above ground pool. I ultimately decided to go with this one because of price and reviews. A lot of the negative reviews that I read were lacking in detail so I automatically assumed it was user error or just didn’t take it into consideration. The positive ones had lots of detail and made sense.This works fine with our pool pump, it suctions everything at the bottom and cleans up the pool. The movement is random but it still gets the job done and covers the entire pool to include the wall. With exception of the ladder area, our ladder is heavy and we don’t move it out the way to get it clean but you can to make sure it covers everything.I think where people go wrong is not reading the instructions but when you do it’s easy assembly. Its easy to use once you figure out the valve for the pressure that we put into the skimmer basket. Once pressure is adjusted with the valve you’ll see the vacuum start suctioning and moving. I’ve had this vacuum for over a year now and it’s still working great! I will buy another when needed!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Being completely honest, I bought this solely because I saw something similar used on the cartoon Bluey. If it’s good enough for Uncle Stripe, it’s good enough for me. That said, it comes with a learning curve but is ultimately a huge time/labor saver vs manual vacuuming.This is a great product but requires a bit of trial and error to get working effectively. First, know that it follows the hose. That said, use the hose that comes with it and adjust the length accordingly. Second, the suction pressure has to be correct so that it doesn’t get stuck. For my in-ground pool, I have to set the pump to 3500 RPMs and shutdown the bottom drains to get the correct pressure. Lastly, if you have a larger pool with two skimmers, you may need to move it between them to clean the pool entirely.Bottom line: Be patient, learn what you need to adjust for your specific pool, and this vacuum will certainly be a time/labor saver for you!

Pretty good for its price point, I didnt want to spend $500+ on a vaccum but I was sick of manually vacuuming my pool. I have a large pool with a 10ft deep end, this does a pretty good job of getting algea and gunk up, it does climb walls too which is awesome the only problem is it does get stuck quite a bit and it also seems to trace the same spots over and over so it never seems to hit the whole poolI switch it between the two skimmers to get more area and I’m still trouble shooting but it gets a lot done and takes a lot off my plate when it comes to vacuuming even if I have to go clean up some corners and edges

Great cleaner…worth the money. The company has stood behind the product! I had an issue after a year and they took care of it expeditiously! The diaphragm is still in excellent shape after a year of use! Thanks VINGLI !!!

I have had a G3 for many years and it finally broke down where it wouldn’t work anymore. I hesitantly bought this based on some of the reviews there are people talking about how the diaphragm doesn’t work, I have not had any problems with it. There are people talking about how it gets stuck in the corners of a square pool, I did experience that. What I did to fix it was simply remove one length of hose. That’s the problem After I did that it’s been in my pool for over a week and it works great and does not stop. This company has a regulator that you need to install, I found that this actually works better than the G3 based on regulating the water pressure. It’s important that you read the instructions and do the installation properly at this point. I’m very happy with it and I would recommend it for sure, again proper installation as a must

Thinking back, I'm going to guess I've been buying the Zodiac Barracudas for about thirty years. Basically they've remained unchanged and I always considered them pricey. Being in southern Arizona, we keep our pools running 365 days a year and it would take about a year and a half to two years before parts started wearing out and especially vulnerable are the "finned disc" and footpad. These are both expensive parts and although easy to purchase, not easy to physically replace. Having a moderate income, we feel the pinch and replace them trying to push the unit to at least getting three years out of it but that's the max as by that point, so many parts are so worn down, a full replacement is the only option. We have done this time and time and time again.I was hesitant to buy this Vingli unit but figured it was really an inexpensive gamble -- this was a gamble that paid off! The unit was working great and I kept meaning to get around to writing a review and then a part broke. Needing to keep the pool operational, I quickly ordered another one and during checkout was offered an extended warranty from an outside party which this time I took. It was right after ordering this that I found out Vingli already has a one-year warranty on the unit themselves and I was still under that warranty. So I reached out to them and the customer service experience was exceptional.My expectations are not that these will last for years and years but I am very impressed that they offer a one-year warranty and stand behind it. In the meantime, the unit functions terrifically! It cleans the pool from end to end and the sides too. It is a truly great buy for the price.

Works but considered disposable.
Rubber disc disintegrated in salt water pool in about a month. Same with previous blue version. The grey one lasts about 6 months. If I could just buy the finned disc, it would save me from buying an entire new unit. Otherwise performs as expected.

Boyau un peu court pour ma piscine creusée de 16' X 32' mais comme j'avais 2 autres longueurs de boyau, ça fait très bien l'affaire, surtout a ce prix là.
Doesn't work
Cleans for 2 min then just stops. I had another one different brand that worked great. This does not.
Good for the money
Like the other cleaner we had it just does not seem to reach the end of our pool.A great price compared to pool places.
