So very pricey that it makes me want to cry, but I was dealing with a kitten in a failure-to-thrive situation who, despite being four months old, was less than a pound, and refusing to eat any food other than pure formula. I tried everything, all of the usual weaning foods, but she just refused. So I ordered this, out of desperation, to give her more protein, and it worked. She devoured this, and within a week, she crept over to the other food dish, and sampled some pate. She is now currently eating both things, and I'll stick with both for a moment, until her digestion adequately can handle a heartier diet alone. My theory is that this formula was more filling, thus helping grow her appetite, leading her to seek out something more substantial on her own. I'm so relieved that I'm giving this 5 stars despite the fact that the price seems a little predatory (I admittedly know nothing about the cost it takes to produce or ship this item, so idk). I am just so grateful that it worked.

Great second step from a trusted brand.PetAg brand is what my emergency vet uses for KMR (kitten milk replacement) and the original newborn to 6 weeks formulation helped save one of our kittens who was not nursing well and was ill. Now she’s at a healthy size, weight and extremely active with a beautiful coat.This is the next step after original KMR and is a weaning food and meant to follow the original/first KMR . The powder does not need to be refrigerated and is reconstituted in the same proportions as the original KMR; 2 parts warm water to 1 part powder which lasts for 24 hours under refrigeration before going bad so don’t mix more than you need.This is not for bottle feeding only for lapping from a bowl mixed with some canned wet food or dry kibble to help them transition.It smells fine, nothing distracting or foul and my older cats are fans too. It’s easy to reconstitute and functions beautifully as a KMR. I tried other brands that were more readily available at local stores but they gave my kitten diarrhea.The Pet Ag line had so far been highly palatable and not caused any ill effects like diarrhea or colic.I’ll use this brand for any future orphan or ill kittens that come my way! It’s been a literal life save so far!

Thor loves his milky! 3 weeks old until now 9 weeks he's still drinking it. He had to have another drink for 2 days and he hated it!!

Very good kitten milk replacement. I fed this to my two 4 week old rescued kittens. And then when they were old enough to introduce solids I used it to make a gruel with their dry kitten food. They drank and ate every bit of it for a good while. They loved their milk

My cat loves this milk a little too much! LOL!! I use less than the recommended amount because of the high fat content. He is somewhere between a year to year and a half old.
