The tool's built-in spring provides excellent flexibility, allowing for smooth removal and Reinstallation of the inner and outer tub seal clamps.The ergonomic, non-slip handles offer a comfortable grip. With this tool, I was able to access the areas behind and below to get to the failed drain pump and replace it. Saved both time and money by avoiding a service call.If you're planning to tackle washer maintenance or repairs yourself, this tool is a must-have. It's apparently compatible with various brands, including LG, Samsung, Whirlpool, and Kenmore.

A must have if your replacing the inner/outer rubber boot, those 2 springs are touch this item makes it so easy!

For my second time repairing my LG front load washer, I decided to treat myself to these so I wouldn't have to struggle with the wire clamp that seals the rubber bellows to the opening. It worked like a charm for removing and installing the spring loaded clamp. I hope I won't need to do another repair to that machine but if I do, I already have the tool to speed up the repair.

My washer has severe mold in the rubber gasket. We removed it and put into the Clorox mix and the mold completely gone and cleaned. However it is very hard to put it back to machine. My husband got the cut when he trying to use his own tool, thus decided to buy this to try the luck. I’m glad I did the right decision. It is still not easy to extend the spring since the head is straight, the spring will keep coming out when pulled. It takes some afford to get it down. Luckily that it can make it with very cheap price.

Bought this when I was replacing the door seal on my Whirlpool WFW9150WW02. This tool opens to approximately 4 inches maximum. The spring clamp on my washer needed to be expanded to about 6 inches. Since I needed to get the job done immediately, I had to resort to bending the jaws out until they opened far enough to expand my clamp. This wasn't easy since this tool is actually built quite well. I had to use a hand held sledgehammer to get the jaws to bend outward. I recommend an expansion tool that screws out. They can stretch the spring much further. Its not a everyday tool but it does what ot meant for. Good quality and easy to use , used it to fix the washmachine spring and it works . Works for LG Direct Drive washmachine. Recommended

Decidí comprar esta herramienta ya que al quitar el aro de la lavadora LG frontal para después remover el empaque y poder retirar el switch dañado de la puerta no tuve problema; pero al instalar todo de nuevo, a la hora de poner el aro metálico que va a presión, si batallé, de hecho hasta fue una operación insegura. Pero ahora, que ya me llegó el SW dañado y tuve que instalarlo de nuevo, con esta herramienta lo pude hacer sin problema, de inmediato y de forma segura.
