It makes my eyebrows look naturally defined. The fibers in the gel add subtle volume. I appreciate that it is buildable, so I can customize the look from day to day. And it’s also forgiving - easy to fix if I apply it too heavily to one spot or color “outside the lines” of my brows. It’s so affordable and convenient to take on the go. Even if I apply more dramatic brows with another product, I’ll top it off with e.l.f. brow gel just to gently hold them in place. I don’t wear makeup every time I leave the house, and rarely ever a full face. But if I’m wearing any makeup at all, it will include this brow gel (and probably some winged eyeliner).

THIS IS FANTASTIC!!!!!! I bought neutral and am extremely pleased. I am in my mid 60's and have always had sparse eyebrows. I powder fill now, takes time, fix with Q tip etc. Tried the draw in fine lines pen, too defined and dark, tried BROW PRO-can't get the form to line up, waste of money-using the powder as a fill but it's too brown, I'll use it just so I don't waste more money. This neutral is perfect for my hair color which is ash brown with ash highlights. (Thanks to these reviews I selected the right color)I LOVE THIS, I had a few stands of gray and it covered, plus it even fills in with fine lines the parts I have ZERO hair! It goes on gingerly so it's easy to control. Very natural and real looking with not too much-"looks at my drawn in brows." Don't hesitate, for the price you can't go wrong. I'll be buying several more with the hope they do not stop making.

Edit: I ended up using this to go out. I used a light hand, concentrated on my thinner brow and was pretty happy with the results. I don't know if I will buy it again, but I will definitely use this on special occasions.Adding picture of me wearing it. And another without makeup so you can see the difference. No filters. .Original review: I ordered this in neutral brown. It really does work. It looks like there is nothing in the tube and (thankfully) it has a tiny little brush. I have pretty thick, dark brows with a couple of thinner spots. When I applied this, it gave me a natural look, allowed me to fill in the thinner bits, but it gives me a really strong brow, which I don't like. It's a personal preference, I think it really does exactly what it is supposed to. I have seen complaints that this is dried up or looks used. I can see where someone can get that impression, but it's just made so you get a very sparing dose at a time. You can definitely build up. And I think it is great that you can start off slow so you don't end up with woolly caterpillars on your forehead. I also resisted the impulse to buy dark brown because all the beauty advice says to go lighter than you think with your brows. That is very true. If I didn't think, after using this, that I prefer my natural brows anyway, I might even have tried taupe, even though I think my eyebrows are actually dark brown.So, even though I am not going to use this product, I think it is very effective, does what it says and is definitely worthwhile if you want bigger brows, or darker brows, or want to change their natural shape. It also does a great job of holding the natural hairs in place, so I am thinking I might try a clear gel next time. This is my first time with a brow mascara. I have tried pencils and powders in the past and found pencils way too visible and powders invisible and hard to apply. I think, in the end, I'm not really in the market for this type of product, but if I were I would definitely go for this!

I mean come on, one of the best affordable brow products out there! Easy to use, enhances brow thickness with good shade match for me. Good formula that doesn't clump and applicator is small and easy to use. Can't beat the price. I have seen other reviews that comment on the size, yes it's small, but what do you want for the small price? My lasts at least 2 months. I've also seen comments on white hairs in the product on the wand - those are fibers that help build on your brows, but I've never been able to see them actually on my brows.

Meh coverage. I used this a few times mostly to cover 2 stubborn gray eyebrow hairs. Didn't last. Didn't cover. I bought a Sephora-brand one and it works great. Similar price, much better results.

I love Elf products! They are always such a great savings but yet work the same (sometimes better!!) than the name brand item!And this is no different. The wand is a nice size and doesnt glob up the makeup on it, goes on nice and smooth and looks great :)

I used to have thick brows .. but after my chemotherapy treatments it thinned out. I have been using eyebrow powder every since .. but then i misplaced the “old brush” that i used to apply … thankfully i found this … saved my day !

this was such a good purchase!! I usually don't do reviews but I bought a package with a bunch of new makeup products to try and this was by far my favourite. It is so natural and it fills in my eyebrows so well. My hair is a dark brown black and this I felt was great because any darker I would've thought too dark. I will say it is quite small but it's only $4 and you don't need much. There are little fiber "hairs" in it that cling onto your eyebrows so there's the appearance of thicker/fuller eyebrows. Be mindful if you do buy it, that it's not used. That's just one of the perks!
