My old fireplace insert started messing up. the motor went out on it. So after trying to fix it myself to no avail, I decided to shop around and after doing extensive research, i decided on this fireplace. There isn't a thing i don't like about this fireplace.. my only issue was that it could have been a tad bit taller for the opening of my old fireplace frame, but after a lil jerry rigging, i made it look like it belonged there the whole time!! I give it an A++ the colors are vibrant, and the remote control.. game changer!

I built this fireplace and wanted something that looked realistic. It provides nice heat output and checks the boxes for realistic. My dog is even mesmerized. Easy to install, like the remote. Haven't had it long so can't speak to the long term quality but so far so good.

The description for the rough opening is not accurate. The dimensions do not include the 1/2" for the rubber tips at the bottom. I had to remove the rubber tips so it would fit in the opening. Also, use caution cause if you add an additional 1/2" to the rough so it will fit with the rubber tips at the bottom, you will have a 1/2" gap at the bottom. The reason is there is no trim piece for the bottom as there is for the top and sides. And if you make the unit set flush against the bottom support you can't open the door for the control panel. Otherwise, the unit works great. My recommendation to the supplier is that they add a trim piece that will cover the bottom as well.Scott

Product met all expectations. Had to have a carpenter install the necessary surrounding material to complete the appearance. Love the remote control and the features.

UPDATE TO MY ORIGINAL REVIEW: Before sending back this fireplace, we decided to take it out of the wall & plug it into another outlet...and in the process, we realized that the cored needed to be pulled out more. It was stuffed into the unit. SO after we plugged it in & tried it again, it worked totally fine! The cord must have been getting hot which kept triggering the overheat protection & shut the unit off for safety. So, I no longer give this ONE star, I am now giving it FIVE stars as the seller contacted us right away & was willing to work with us to make things right. Now we are keeping the fireplace insert.*****************************************************************************************************************************We hooked this up today. Worked good for 5 minutes, then shut off. No heat or blower. Went through troubleshooting steps to try to fix it. Turned unit off for 10 minutes as instructed. Started up & lasted for about 10 minutes. Temp was set at 68 degrees so it did not overheat. All other buttons & features work just fine. Will be contacting Bolo seller in the morning for assistance.

Awesome!! This is the second one we've bought. We loved the first one but sold our house with it and we knew immediately we would be buying one for our new house. Was so happy to find the same seller still selling them and the price is the best! Definitely recommend this fireplace, keeps the house warmer and it's so pretty!

Weâve had this heater about a year. Bought this in the winter of 2022. I shouldâve sent it back at the time. It doesnât work consistently and constantly just stops working. Sometimes it works fine, and other times it just wonât kick on. Even when the temperature in the room drops well below what itâs set to. There seems to be no difference between the high and low settings. The air comes out at the same speed when it decides to work. The controls are also super weird and the bottom vent has to be open all the time if you want to see the screen that tells you what temperature itâs set to.

Easy install, be sure to ventilate or run outside for the first time as it has fumes that are released upon firing it up.After a year a started squealing, really annoying but still pumping out good heat for a large 15X20 room.
