Will the carrom board be delivered safely or will it break during transport?2. Is the surface of the carrom board smooth enough or is it rough?3. Will the carrom board warp after some time.Regarding safe delivery, there are two issues to consider1. Does the mail delivery service handle the packaged product properlyGiven the delivered package was about 50 lbs (give or take), I was relieved to see there were no holes or obvious signs of damage. So, the product was handled carefully during transit.2. Was the carrom board packaged properly so the odds of it being delivered intact are improved?To reach the carrom board, I had to cut open a cloth-like cover, a large box, thin plastic wrapping, a thin cover for the playing surface, and Styrofoam-like inserts to project the four sides of the board. The product has been appropriately padded and the playing surface well protected. Again, no signs of damage. So, the seller had made efforts to protect the product from damage.What was contained in the package?1. A carrom board2. A striker with its own little case3. Coins (no cracks on them)4. Powder5. A cover to store the board inIs the carrom board surface smooth enough? Here are my initial observations1. The surface appears to be smooth to touch and I have not noticed any rough patches.2. If launched with enough force, the striker can bounce off the sides up to 5 or 6 times. Please note that I have not added any powder to the board so far.3. If launched gently from the middle of the launch area towards the pockets, the striker travels effortlessly.4. The distance from the red corners of the launch area to the nearest point on the lower edge of the board is roughly 4 coins at each red corner. So, the dimensions are consistent across the boardAt this point, I am satisfied with the carrom boards quality. It is heavy but that is expected if one reads the product description.Is the board warped?1. I just got the carrom board and it appears to be flat.2. I checked with a level tool and it seems to be flat at all points across the board that I checked.It is not warped, at least, for now. If it does warp in the future, I will certainly update my review.

Nice, thick, heavy and smooth. Comes with coins, striker, powder and cover. Nicely packaged. Received in good condition. Good enjoyment with the family. The lines were a little bit crooked, maybe freehand drawing? But not a show stopper.

Had it for over a month. Everyday we are playing and even without much boric powder, it remains very smooth and a pleasure to play.Had some concerns of this being a non-birch plywood. So far very good. We can hit the striker go across the board six times or more quite easily.As delivered, the black railing had some chipped paint, but since it doesn’t affect functionality I am not worried.Our last board was 8mm and it warped after few months. Hoping this 16mm board lasts for years.
