Sometimes it gets confused if I have two devices connected (I use this for music and podcasts in the car, and my headset for phone calls), but I just power it on and off, and it connects to media audio just fine, leaving my phone connection unharmed.Cons:-LED flashes continuously while in use; it's bright enough to be a bit distracting at night-sometimes the switch doesn't connect just right, and I have to try more than once to get it to power on-definitely not good for phone calls, though it does have a microphoneWhen it's losing power, it tells you by interrupting the audio to demand charging; and when it reaches this stage, you have about 3 minutes of power left before it shuts down.Overall, this is totally worth the price. I've heard other complaints of "I can hear the mechanism." Can I hear it? Yes, if the music is quiet or between songs. Does it distract me, personally, that I can hear it? No. I barely notice it. The sound quality is great, but that's probably more a function of the nice sound system the car came with. I am glad I found this, it has breathed new life into an older car radio. I'll be good as long as the cassette mechanism keeps running.

Simply said, this is a well designed & built product that is transparent to use. It fantastically has transformed the audio system in my vintage 1996 BMW Z3 to Bluetooth operation allowing wireless integration with my iPhone and Auto Alexa. On the road this provides me with all the voice commands of Alexa, streaming music, navigation and hands free phone calls & text messages. The streaming stereo music quality is as good as my car systems CD changer. I can now also control my house Alexa devices from inside my car hearing feedback from Alexa over my car stereo system. I purchased the newer Arsvita model with the white cassette body. This model has the charging port on the end facing the driver. To charge it I simply eject the cassette and plug the charging cable in while leaving the cassette in the player. Full charge seems to take about an hour or less depending on the Battery discharge state. After doing the initial battery charge it took less than 5 minutes to make this product fully operational in my Z3. I highly recommend this Bluetooth 5.0 retrofit device. Bolo delivered this item next day.

I've been using the Arsvita "Cassette Adapter with Audio Cable" for quite a while. Nonetheless, the jack connector broke due to multiple times plugging & unplugging the jack connector from my phone. I liked Arsvita in the past, so I wanted to purchase a replacement. When I realized Arsvita made a "Bluetooth Cassette Adapter with Microphone," I decided to purchase this wireless version since I'd had trouble in the past with the audio cable jack. Much to my dismay, this upgraded version was completely inferior to the cassette adapter with audio cable. To begin with, the cogset within the cassette made more noise than the music I was trying to listen to. Secondly, the sound quality is inferior to the "Cassette Adapter with Audio Cable." Other than the Bluetooth capability, this cassette adapter is simply a glorified Bluetooth headset. I'm utterly disappointed in Arsvita with this product. If Arsvita doesn't improve the quality of its products, this will be the reason why Arsvita will remain a "small business." I will be requesting either a refund or a quality exchange for this substandard product.
4.0 out of 5 stars Something’s different. I bought this one after my replacement wasn’t as good as my old one.
Left this identical review for the other color cassette: So I bought this about a year and a half ago, and it worked amazing, quick connection, good bass response, the highs were high and the lows were low. After the cable snapped from constant use and switching cars multiple times, it was time for a replacement. This new one seems to last longer with charges, but my subs don’t hit hard anymore. I had to turn my bass from +3 to +6 to even notice any response at all, it’s just not the same so I’m at a loss and kinda bummed that I can’t cruise with the same sound quality anymore. I’m not sure what was done different but it’s not loud anymore

I have a 1999 Cadillac with an original equipment AM-FM cassette radio. This little device enables me to stream music from my iPhone to the system via the cassette player.It connects easily and quickly, and the sound is better than any cassette I’ve heard on it.This device is a great value!

Needed to eject it every time I turned off the car, because it doesn't start up again otherwise (yes even after turning the bluetooth off,) which would have been fine, had it not continuously then flipped and got stuck in the stereo.Do not recommend, unless you're okay buying several to switch out.

Desde un principio no funcionaba bien. Se desconectaron los micro cables por dentro pero un cerrajero me los soldó y funciona de maravilla.
Cannot be used for Phone conversations
The microphone of this device is not useful at all. It can be used as a bluetooth device to play music from you phone
