This was perfect for that. We just jazzed it up! My boys have a bunch of Bluey characters that fit perfectly in it. I painted the trim black and ordered another set of furniture that was a better scale, as other buyers did. The furniture that comes with the house is too small, but great for repurposing into other items. You can see some of the items in the photos. I turned all the tables into stools and a dining bench, bathtub & wardrobe into an island countertop, sink into a floating counter, a bed into a standing mirror, and the couch into a floating shelf. We also added wall paper and some flooring. The inner walls and floor are VERY thin but hopefully it will hold up to some roughness 🤞🏻🤞🏻Overall I’d say a good buy!

Alas, like other reviews, I’m here to add this is pretty flimsy. Also, the holes were put on the wrong side of the frame so I had to get the drill out to drill holes on the correct side. Hopefully she’ll love it but required a fair amount of extra work.

I'm currently refurbishing 4 other dollhouses and 7 dolls as we speak. I bought this on a whim thinking I could create a quick and basic custom house for toddlers...but I simply can't recommend. It's made out of cheap unsealed balsa wood; one climb on it and it would break in a heartbeat. One liquid spill, it would be ruined and warp. The "screws" could be easy taken out by a child and the whole thing would start to collapse. For the price, I expected much more out of the size, quality, and furniture. The furniture isn't in ratio with the house and needs to be sanded and sealed (as would the house) anyhow. The "people" are just sad. There's much better out there; look elsewhere.

I am so glad I bought this product! It was a Christmas purchase for my young grandson. I was looking for a house that wasn’t pink or purple for a boy. I found this and it was great! It’s perfect for his action figures and he uses his imagination with it! I wasn’t worried about the reviews regarding the furniture or the people that came with the product. The furniture was usable for his action figures and the people became statues that he put on the table. Ha ha! It became the Roblox headquarters and we’ve never looked back !It’s it has survived a five year old very active and very rough boy, So I would say it is definitely sturdy enough. It was also very easy to put together. I can’t find anything bad to say about it. It was definitely perfect for the use I had in mind!

Sadly this house does not stay together very well. My grandson within less than three months had the wooden screws stripped where they don't stay together any longer. I feel like this was a waste of money purchase and now I can't return it. I'd like a refund.

I was been searching for a modern, simple looking wood dollhouse for my school aged kids for a while. When I came across this set I really liked how it looked, that it was made of wood, wasn't too oversized or heavy, and that it seemed relatively easy to assemble. I have no complaints about the materials or design - I think it's actually SUPER cute. I was happy it came with some furniture too - one less thing that I have to worry about and my kids can add their existing dollhouse furniture to it. Also, the little peg dolls remind me of the Japanese character, Anpanman, which is super cute IMO. This will be great for some open-ended play and even dollhouse customization if we wanted to. Since my kids are school aged, I don't anticipate them treating it too roughly, so overall I'm really satisfied with it!

My son loves it. The only thing we didn't like about it was the plastic screws. And how they were glued together. Kept falling apart and left eh house frame way to loose. So we had to buy super glue and put the screws back together and the glue them with the frame of the house so it can stay intact better.

I did not enjoy putting this together bc the photos did not make sense all the time, so just use your brain. It looks really cute when finished and it has not come loose at all. I like the natural look of it so I can have it in the living room.
