I work from home and my laptop and docking station exclusively uses display port and thunderbolt for video output. Unfortunately I don't own any monitors that support those inputs, so I had to find a solution and very quickly.There are many other options out there, but after hours of searching I decided to try these and I have been thoroughly impressed by how well they work and how well they are manufactured. Now I am able to keep using my existing monitors for the foreseeable future without any concerns about having to spend money out of pocket in order to maintain my level of efficiency at work.

Literally the second I opened it I noticed the pins were bent before I got my hands on it, luckily I know what to do and I bent the pins back to straight and it works as intended. But if you don't want to have a chance of needing to straighten the pins order a different cable.
