Was sad to see my stone come in on the small side. Was even more sad to see it coated in some color enhancing material. Going to lose a lot of stone trying to get it off to cut for jewelry

Love the ruby. Small chip in the bag concerned me. It has been enhanced by heat. If your looking for one that isn't, this isn't it. All in all, it pretty, not as red as i had wished. Beautiful none the less. Great buy for the price.

It took a while to leave a review because I needed to save up for a gemstone tester. Finally received my tester, calibrated it, checked on known samples to verify accuracy, and tested this sample. Surprise, it's not a natural ruby. As an extra test, I submerged it in Refractol to see if there was anything usable for faceting and it bled, meaning that there was dye. Save your money.
