Superb quality oats. And a great value. My slow cooker recipe turned out perfect. They taste great. Only thing is, when you make a batch a couple times a week you run out fast great product.

I have tried multiple oat groats, and this one is the best one with consistent quality and totally hull free. I just pressure cook for 45 minutes with 3 times water and leave it warm for another 45 minutes,and it is perfect to eat. Real value for money!

These oat groats are nutritious and delicious. I really like them, and the price is very reasonable. I've purchase the 5 lb packages on two separate occasions. The groats arrive in a thin paper bag which is inside a thin plastic bag which is inside a larger cardboard box. Upon receiving them each time, both the inner and outer bags have been slightly torn, which of course allows some the groats to spill out. I thought it was a "fluke" the first time, but this has now happened twice. I'd respectfully request the manufacturer to provide more robust packaging.

These grains are perfect for my parakeets and less expensive than buying small jars specifically for birds. These grains are clean and perfect. Plus they last a long time. I add to my birds seed. If you have a bird, you won't be sorry buying these.

For 3-1/2 years I bought and consumed this product (over 24 10-pound bags) thinking I was eating pure, organic oat groats, because the product said on the packaging (and on the Bolo web page) "Pure Organic Ingredients". When looking to order an additional bag, I happened to notice that the name had been changed (without ANY notice) to "Pure ORIGINAL Ingredients" --which JUST SO HAPPENS to look the same as "Pure Organic Ingredients" when you just glance at it. This is clearly intentional and meant to mislead customers into thinking they are still selling organic oat groats. Upon further research and reading more reviews, I discovered that the product was NEVER organic. They simply NAMED the product "Pure Organic Ingredients"! If this isn't false advertising, misleading, and outright LIES with intent to convince the customer that they are selling an ORGANIC product when they are clearly NOT, I don't know what is. Over the past 3-1/2 years I have spent over $750 buying what I thought were organic oat groats, and EATING THEM! Now I wonder how much pesticides, preservatives and chemicals I have been consuming, while thinking I was keeping my body and system clean and organic. This company is HORRIBLE. Please do not buy this or any of their products. SHAME on them.

I cannot express how much I hate oatmeal. The paste like taste, the mushy texture, the gooey strands it creates on your lips when you try to chew it. I can't even watch other people eat it! I know, I'm pitiful, but it's true. All that being said, I LOVE THESE GROATS!! I couldn't believe how amazing they are. Kinda earthy, kinda nutty and far better for you than oatmeal. We cook these in our instant pot, so they cook relatively fast and they are delicious. The texture is like rice and they don't taste like paste at all. If you aren't sure about them, maybe try a smaller bag first. I went all in on this bag because my husband was serious about them. I thought he might have them occasionally, but we both enjoy them almost every day and you can even have them savory instead of sweet by adding other spices and ingredients. We generally add apple or frozen fruit and some cinnamon or allspice. No honey, or brown sugar is needed. Can you believe it?! Give it a shot, and if you already love oatmeal, then you should try these too. Find out what your missing.
