It's firmer and not as mushy as canned tuna. I dont have to drain it, I just scoop it out. I really like having this in our house in case of emergencies when the electricity goes out because it's a shelf stable protein. During the summer it's such an easy meal to just make tuna fish sandwiches. I just add the mayo and relish and then put it in the fridge overnight because I like mine cold. Put it on some sliced bread and call it good. It's so versatile too. I can make it the traditional way or add tobasco or bacon or different spices. I usually open about 6 pouches at once and store it in tupperware so it's just there in the fridge for a quick bite too.
