Removes anything questionable in the water. I have good tasting well water, but living near farms, you never know what chemicals leech into the water table. It gives me peace of mind that it has 13 filters of various materials to absorb and remove any contaminants. Lasts a long time if you don't have rusty water. I had to install an iron remover on my well to clear up my red water. The filter plugs up after 4-5 months with the iron. Now it lasts several years, even though I have hard water with lots of minerals. I do not have a water softener. I do not like a reverse osmosis filters, as it removes the minerals which are necessary for healthy bones and teeth. The minerals do not plug up the water filter. This one is very reasonably priced and efficient. Does a great job.

I haven't done a water quality and analysis on it to verify that it does what the product states it does. But, the water does taste good

The media could not be loaded. I’ve been using the Oceanic Water System Alkaline Filter for a more than 3 years and the results are noticeable. The water tastes clean and fresh, and I like that it raises the pH for a more alkaline balance. Installation was simple, and the filter lasts several months. The only downside is that the water flow is a bit slower, but that’s expected with multi stage filtration. Definitely recommend if you're looking for healthier, better-tasting water.

I m using it for over the sink water filter. Florida has terrible quality water quality with lots of fluoride, etc. Does this filter take all that out. It wasn’t clear what percentage FOR REAL in my kitchen it handles. What I don’t like is that it “spits” out water every time I turn it on. Why?
