Tamiya is my preferred plastic cement, and since I could not get any at any of my local hobby shops anymore, buying in bulk online is a pretty affordable option for me. I go through a single jar in about six to eight months, depending on the number and complexity of the models I am assembling.It takes longer for this stuff to dry than super glue, but that's normal and should be expected when handling this type of glue. You apply it with the brush to both sides for best adhesion and then hold together for a few minutes. Having a few handy clamps nearby helps if you're bulk assembling models, or the pieces are awkward to hold for that time.After a few minutes, you can scrape away any plastic that has seeped from the gap in your model with a dull knife or file and you have a plastic model completely free from any obvious gaps. You can also use it to clean up the small plastic filing when you scrape away mold lines, just a gentle tap with the brush, mostly dry, will melt them into nothing.You can also use this after you have assembled models to smooth out any issues in the gaps, and can combine some of this with left over sprues to create "liquid green stuff" or "spruegoo" to use as gap filler for models that just don't quite fit together. It's easier to use this than to use epoxy or resin to fill the gaps, and since it doesn't expand or heat up you don't have to be worried about it making the problem worse or otherwise damaging your model.It does leave behind a slightly shiny finish on the bare plastic where you use it, but this doesn't hurt primer adhesion anyway.This does only work on polystyrene models, it will not work for resin, and may not work on all models, because some brands use different plastics. Works great on Games Workshop models and Gunpla though.The price is higher than I used to pay at my local hobby shop, but they started carrying another brand and at ~$9 per bottle, it's cheaper than buying single bottles.

This stuff is awesome. Makes building miniatures super easy and holds amazing well. Sadly, one of my bottles was broken on delivery and another one had a loose cap. I essentially received a mess in a box. If you can buy this local, I would recommend it. If have no local stores, this might be your best option. Just be prepared for a mess and a customer service call.

Per me la migliore colla al mondo, idonea per grossi pezzi, fantastica per i piccoli dettagli. Tempi asciugatura rapidi, penetra ovunque, dopo 24 ore i pezzi sono "saldati" insieme. Raccomandatissima, ma non usare per resine ed abs, tamiya ha una colla dedicata a questi materiali
