Our 4 year old plays with this set nearly everyday. His cars work well on the tracks too, which is his favorite way to play with it. We love that it’s wood and great quality. And there are so many ways to set it up that it keeps the kids busy for a while.

Great set. Only issue is the bridge is not tall enough for the trains to go beneath. I have a table for the train set. I have added another bridge and the town and sign set. This is a toy that grows with the child. The child can really use their imagination. Great for quite play, no lights, no bells, no songs, no sounds.

Great product! A little too old for our two year old as the pieces aren’t sturdy enough for him, but I think it would be great for a three year old boy or older who can build his own path and keep the train on there by himself.

Bought this set for my train obsessed 3-year-old. He loves it!Pros: the set is a great quality and will last forever. There are endless combinations for the set, and comes with four different configuration instructions to help me until my toddler can come up with his own set-up. The other stand alone magnet train sets are compatible with this set, which is great to add to what comes with the set.Cons: The blocks used for the elevated tracks are very easy to unsettle and leads to a mess. My 1 yo is now renamed Godzilla for her excellent destruction skills. Small complaint, but there is only one of the configurations that fits the table you can buy (pictured). I don't love having to get creative when my toddler asks for a change up.And more of just a warning than a con: this is a real wood set and has a real wood smell for a while after unpacking.
