The Hawkins 1.5 Litre Pressure Cooker is well constructed and works fine, but it was smaller than I expected. That was my fault for not getting the size right. If you need a small cooker, it's perfect, but make sure it's what you need before buying!

I prefer to cook a small batch of dry beans w/o added salt. This small pressure cooker does the job in less time than a regular pot and takes up less space in the closet

I recently purchased a Hawkins pressure cooker, a brand I usually trust and have had great experiences with. Unfortunately, this particular model left me disappointed.Firstly, I’ve noticed that food burns very quickly in this cooker, something I’ve never encountered with my previous Hawkins cookers. It’s frustrating because it requires constant attention to avoid ruining meals.Secondly, the design of the opening is another issue. It feels sharp and rough, making it a bit challenging and uncomfortable to clean. It’s surprising to see these drawbacks in a Hawkins product, which usually excels in quality and user-friendliness.Overall, while I still appreciate the brand, this model did not meet my expectations.

Very handy and good quality pressure cooker.
An exceptionally useful utensil.
Though I have two other pressure cookers bought locally, I had to buy this locally unavailable one from Bolo. Because the bottom of this cooker is ferromagnetic, i.e., it can generate heat working on the induction heating principle. The other two older can not.The tidiness, accurate control of heating, automatic shutdown after the programmed time, and efficiency are some of the uniqueness of this combination of modern industrial heating and its application. This modified pressure cooker far exceeds its overall utility and convenience.
