Decided to add a couple things to my cart to meet the delivery requirements, so chips and queso seemed like a good idea. This was the only queso I could find on the site, so I went for it - I am fairly certain my many failed attempts at making my own queso were better than whatever is in this jar. The taste is wrong, the consistency is wrong (it's so thin and watery, there's no way it's cheese), and for being such a thin consistency - it took longer than the average to heat it up. I ended up tossing the cheese and eating the chips plain - never again.

I just order two more jars! I love this with potato chips, pretzels, triscuit crackers, and saltines. I even put a dap on some scrambled eggs to give them some zing!

The lid on one is dented and the seal is broken.The cheese is separated oddly.

It has a little heat similar to Tostitos' Salsa con queso mild. It has a cheese flavor but not as strong as artificial. For a healthier version, I was actually surprised based on all the reviews. I don't know if people are using scented dish soap and laundry detergent that have killed their noses and taste buds, but even my wife said it tested pretty close and was surprised.

Sometimes when cheese stinks it means it might be good. That is not the case with this jar of queso. As soon as I opened it, I was mauled with such an intense and pungent scent. My husband was coming through the kitchen and asked me if I farted. I don’t know how but I guess I accidentally ordered this twice. May be the first time it knocked me out and I forgot. Don’t waste your money and it’s not even hot so if you do like the pungence, you’ll still have to add peppers.

I had given up eating this kind of dip many years ago as it only seemed to be available in a huge brand-name with lots of questionable ingredients. But I recently happened upon this product in my local Whole Foods store. I tried it out and found myself going back for more and more. It is now a regular purchase for me. I am so glad to be able to find this dip with it's great quality ingredients. Well done, Whole Foods!
