I have tried a LOT of different skincare products, and I would easily say that toners and essences are by far my favorite product in the routine. I have so many different products that I have tried, and so many different options; I would not be saying this otherwise. This is a great toner, and because of how well my skin has responded I will be very comfortable with making this my only toner. I am seeing my skin barrier start to heal and my breakouts are becoming less frequent and the scars are becoming way less noticeable. A win for me!

I have had oily skin all my life and struggled with moisturizers which are typically creams. This gel is fantastic. It absorbs quickly and really makes my skin feel great. I have noticed fewer skin eruptions since using it because it is not a cream and does not clog pores.

I've used this product for years and it is great. I just recently placed another order and it was delivered with the lid broken...which is understandable because it packaged in an Bolo envelope, no product box and no extra protective bubble wrap. I put in a request to return the product and get a replacement. No problem, told me to keep the original. Couple days later the replacement arrives in the same condition as the other one, same packaging as the first. Believe this comes from Bolo, so it is their fault, not Hada Labo's. Great product but might want to order from somewhere else.

I used the lotion sold by Rhoto in Japan. I noticed this one is quite different from the Japanese one in spite of the same Rhoto. The japanese one I feel more moisture close to the moisturrizer.However, this one doesn't contain strong fragrance and it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. Quite Soothing.

My first order arrived, and like many reviews, appeared that the seal (white tape) was broken. I requested a replacement which arrived very quickly, and unfortunately the seal was broken on that one as well. I do like the product so just decided to keep both instead of returning the original order.

Il pacchetto era lasciato a pieno sole per ore a 35 gradi e ero completamente bollente! Il prodotto danneggiato e no usabile….
Arrived in good condition and happy with the product
Delivery / Safety seal: I saw several reviews saying that the hygiene seal was broken on the product when it was delivered and this made me wary of buying it. However, I followed the link to the correct Bolo page from beauty writers online and was certain that I was buying a genuine product so I went ahead and bought it. I was happy that the safety seal on my bottle was in tact when I opened the package, however I would note that the seal is not strong and looked almost ready to break. One very slight twist of the cap broke the seal when I opened it. I can't speak for other people's items but from mine I think it could be the case that any safety seals were broken during delivery rather than because they had not been sealed before dispatch, or pre-used. That set my mind at ease somewhat and I would be less wary about repurchasing.Product: I'm very pleased with the product itself. I am prone to adult acne so very wary about trying new products, especially anything with a potential to be pore clogging (as some moisturising products can be). Can't say anything about long-term effects on my skin but I can say that it was not broken me out at all after several uses; it is good for putting over an active product like Vitamin C which still makes my skin tingle a lot when used: the hyaluronic acid lotion immediately calmed my skin; it is absorbed almost immediately and leaves no sticky residue.Overall I'm happy with the product. I prefer it to brands I've tried like The Ordinary because of the price / volume of this product and the complete lack of stickiness. Very quickly after putting it on I'm ready to put my SPF on top and I think I could go ahead and put makeup straight on top if I weren't putting on the SPF.
