Have had for several months and use all the time, I hand wash it only and it has held up great. I have this in 2 sizes and I like them both. Neither of them had rough edges.

When my other cutting boards that are larger wear out, I will be buying another one of these in a larger size. I use the smaller size quite a bit for cutting small amounts of things. Very easy to clean. Easy to cut on. Dries quickly. Does not seem to hold odor or any flavors on it. This is different than the plastic boards that I have for vegetables or sometimes I will get leftover flavors like garlic. Worth the money. Again very easy cleanup. Very nice appearance.

Smaller than I realized, but it will suit my needs. I can see the sanded and not-well sealed seams on the one side, but I plan to use the other side. Also, the board doesn't come cured with oil. Before I even used it, I treated it with olive oil and waited a couple of days. After every wet use, I treat it again. That's the best way to prevent dry out and cracks.

These Bamboo cutting boards are the nicest one I have ever seen. Slightly larger than the ones I have been using, they are a little cheaper in price. Outstanding quality and come in a shrink wrap and zip lock bags. I look forward to purchasing these again in the near future. I used these for laser engraving imagines.

I bought this because I have a small "epicurean" brand cutting board I like very much, and my understanding was that these are bamboo. Now that I've looked them up, I see that's not true.Anyway, I bought this bamboo board, thinking it would be similar to the "epicurean" but lots cheaper.Cheaper it was, but not in a good way. I like the size and weight (the board is only about 3/8" thick, thus easily manipulated). The edges are rough. I've conditioned the board with mineral oil repeatedly, but it still soaks up oil like crazy. The bamboo is laminated, as it has to be, but the result is not nearly as smooth as a wooden laminated board, and I do worry that food is likely to remain in the little striations. Of course, you wouldn't want to use this for meat. So far the board has held together, but I'm careful to only cut against the grain and to oil frequently. I don't know if it will ever be oil-stable, if that's the right way to describe it.Since this is the only true bamboo cutting board I've owned, I don't know if these failings are typical of bamboo or just this board.

Had to send back the first one due to separation cracks in two places. The replacement came without any cracks. Giving ***** stars for ease of replacement, unblemished replacement item, and fast mailing of new board.Quality? I have other bamboo boards that are made with a harder, denser wood, but this one is acceptable if oiled well and then sealed with beeswax before using because of its porosity. I give it *** stars. It's a good board if prepped first.
