Never had this many! Fly paper can get messy so we tried this. They work PHENOMENALLY well thus far. Within in the first two days, there were like 40 flies between the 3 traps. Whatever that mixture is, they like it a lot. It smells absolutely rancid, so don't sit directly next to it. But as long as it's a few feet away it's not an issue. Though I suppose the strong smell is what they like, so I really can't complain. My only concern is the reusable factor. I really don't want to dump that smelly soup with dead flies down the sink and have my drain smell awful. And I worry if I dump it in the grass, it'll attract MORE flies. So I'll have to see if I opt to reuse them or just toss them for new ones. But in terms of effectiveness alone, it deserves five stars!!

I live in the forest and have had a fly problem....it seems I could never be on my deck without flies everywhere when cooking. Well; this is a wonderful answer and I deployed several 30 to 40 feet away from my back yard. These traps lured these pests away and now I can truly enjoy my deck. These are a must buy. The trick is not just one but several .They work and are very good

Honest review here… WOW, these traps work great, and very quickly! I purchased them for use on our outdoor porch because the number of flies were horrendous. The trap was super easy to set up, and only took a minute. The quality of the trap is terrific. Although the instructions say that it could take 2 to 5 hours for the trap to start working, it literally started working for me within a few minutes! The packet dissolved within a minute and the flies started going to the trap in droves. I did not immediately, or at any time, notice a bad smell from the contents of the trap, but the flies sure do! I thought this was a terrific deal for 3 traps because they are a good size and will hold a lot of flies. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

Effective but smelly. Every year when in gets really hot here flies invade our house. We set them up outside to prevent this. We did not get invaded by flies; however, they smell. We had set them up before leaving and could smell them in our house. This scent unfortunately is what attracts the flies. Would be wonderful for like a trash can area that is not right by an entrance to a house

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Works like a charm! The dark buildup you see inside? Yep — all dead flies. It gives off a slight fishy odor that the flies are clearly attracted to (not overpowering, but noticeable). The flies have been out of control this year, so I got this to help reduce them on my back patio. So far, so good! It’s definitely made a difference. I would highly recommend this if you’re dealing with a fly problem!

These are by far the best if you want to get rid of those annoying flies. I live in the country on a farm and we are surrounded by them. They are great quality and easy to use. It takes just a minute to set them up and run you can forget about it for a while. The design lets you hang or sit on the ground. There is no smell until it’s filled with flies. I would recommend this to everyone and have done so. Used only outdoors.

It works great. We have a horrible fly problem to the point they’re always getting into our house and into our garbage can outside resulting in maggots. I put this on top of the garbage can to deter them from going into the can and it’s working great. Only thing is that it smells stinky to attract the flies so I would keep it close to somewhere you sit outside.
