I thought it would taste bad by itself, like a brand I tried before. I put a Tbsp of Irish butter, 1/2 tsp salt, and a bit of black pepper. It tastes awesome. I will continue to buy, but will alternate with store-brand regular broth bc of budget. Great for my ketovore WOE

I use bone broth as a base for miso. I had been using another brand, but when they suddenly doubled the price, I started getting this brand. I never said anything to my husband, but he told me the miso was much better than usual. It's always good, but what did I do different? I used Swanson brand bone broth.We will be using this brand from now on. Not only is it more affordable, but it is also less salty tasting than the other brand. That's important when you are adding kelp, seaweed, dashi and fermented soybeans.Delicious and more affordable. What's not to love?
