Replacement cord has reinforcement black rubber around where cord goes into the robot.Better than the original that came on the m400 in 2020 .Goggle to install.Working great..Always buy original parts.

My 6 year old dolphin m400 died.. I figured easier and cheaper to see if it was the cord that was damaged then buy new pool cleaner. $299 compared to $1500!Cord arrived faster then stated.No instructions in the box but i'd watched video on prime and it was easy to replace..basically just a couple of screws...plug and play.Getting the old cord out of the socket was pretty hard needed a good tug. One of the pins on my old cord had eroded so I was optimistic new cord once installed would fix my dolpin and it did!!Hardest part was getting top back on dolphin, a tip is don't try and drop top back on machine but start at back and slide forward then push down..(this will make sense when your actually doing it).I'm not a particularly technical female and I actually hate electricity but if you can read and undo a few screws then anyone can replace their cord.

Thank you for the photos!!! This shows 3 prongs for the plug and mine only originally had 2 however, there were 3 inside the dolphin for the female end on cable to plug into so it worked out fine! The only difficulty with replacing the cable was after it is plugged in, it is difficult to get the cable around the lower guides and get the clip back snapped over the cable. I think it is because I have "nails" and weaker fingers than men do. I took it to the shop for the service man to assist and he had STRONG hands and had it snapped in less than 10 seconds. Only wish the description had listed that this cable fits the Active 20 Dolphin. I had my fingers crossed! IT FITS! Not sure why this one costs SO much more than another cable that I purchased that was not exactly the right one. It was 1/2 the cost of this one! Had to take what I could find.

Expensive but works and is easy to install. Make sure you have the right model number for your specific cable ( I called dolphin to verify ) and get a legit cable as well ( from them but on Bolo ).Take the 4 screws out and lift the plastic shell off.Look under the shell for hose and loosen connectors so it moves freely.Unscrew 2 cable clamps and unscrew cable seal and pull cord straight out.Put new cable in and reverse process and it works!!! I’d wait to take bad cable off so you see exactly how new one goes on and google directions if need be.

Perfect replacement. After watching one of several videos on YouTube, installation was fast and simple. Don’t fall for buying knock offs that are only slightly cheaper as they are not durable.

I installed the cable without issue. My M500 ran 1 cycle (I’m not positive it completed the cycle). After that, it acted as though it was not getting power.I did a quick continuity check and found one of the leads was open. I returned the cable.I ordered another cable from a different supplier and had the same thing occur. This time I opened the swivel and found 1 of the pins had retracted into the connector. They are spring loaded, but this 1 pin would not extend back out. I’m suspecting this is a manufacturing issue.

This replacement cord only lasted for 1 year. problem with the swivel... again.I think I'll go with a cordless pool cleaner next. I can't afford $300 every year to replace a bad cord!

Ce câble semble identique à l'original et fonctionne parfaitement. Il m'a permis de régler la panne de mon Dolphin M400 et m'a évité un achat d'un nouveau robot.
