According to "UL" standards or any other standards used around the world the capacity of the item is the Total Volume Capacity of the Cooker with the lid. The boiled water leaves a residue on the bottom of the pan: Stainless steel may develop stains caused by salts/minerals in the water. The cleaning instruction is given In the user manual. The lid keeps popping off the pot. The lid is meant to keep on while cooking. Induction cooktop: Induction cooktops initially heat up faster than gas and electric stoves and the times normally required for initial heating of oil/butter may need to reduce.

I assumed since it says it works on gas or induction that it would. It does not. I get an E0 when I try to use it on an induction plate, and that was the whole reason I got it.False advertising at best. Otherwise, I mean, yeah, it seems like a perfectly good 1qt sauce pan, but $15 more than its equal.I'm super not happy that I didn't test it immediately, and the return window is over.
