The last one lasted 8 years!!! It's perfectly sized. Nice & deep, simply put in some hot water & Dawn, wait a few seconds and wipe it clean with a paper towel. Rinse well, dry. Place a paper towel in it to store the elec control. Works great for everything. We do Tuna Tetrazzini, porkchops, bacon, burgers, etc. Love the temp control is accurate and responds quickly. Hope they keep making this exact one, because I'll need another one in about 8 years. To make yours last that long, only use teflon utensils. Do not use anything scratchy or rough to clean. It's best to clean immediately after cooking, while still hot, add water & dishsoap, wipe clean. Enjoy.

I love my new Presto electric skillet. It cooks, fries and even bakes. It’s like having an oven on my countertop. Presto is a great brand so I took the chance to order this unit. It is inexpensive, versatile and nice to look at. Get yours, you will love it.

I really love this frying pan! It's deep enough that you can cook a roast, or make stew. We currently are doing repairs in the kitchen so we lack both counter space and a functioning sink. I like that this is super easy to clean. Just wipe it down and give it a quick wash. There's really not much you can't cook in this.

Love Presto electric skillets! Presto is myFavorite brand for this after trying many. We use this frequently in our house. The only reason it got 4 stars instead of 5 is because I don’t feel like the heating element lasts as long as I’d like but that may be because of the amount of use ours gets! Still a high quality product non the less

The Presto 07117 12in Electric Skilliet is a great pan. The 'high sidewalls' form a pan that is 2.75in deep inside, while being 12in square width from outer edge to outer edge. I could not find the sidewall measurement anywhere, but the 2.75in meets my needs. The spoon rest notch is helpful because it allows steam to vent out during cooking. The handle is rather small, but has just enough room for my chunky male fingers to grip it. Assembly is required as the handle and the legs are not attached when the product arrives.My usage may be unusual, but this type of pan is terrific for popping popcorn! The 2.75in sidewalls allow for my usual large batch size, and the venting of steam out through the spoon rest keeps the corn from absorbing moisture while it pops. It is also fun to watch the popping progress.

We don't consider this to be a long term solution for our cooking needs. They last between one to two years before the surface shows wear. Then we replace it. It's extremely reliable when it comes to temperature control and results.
