For reference - I have long, very straight, thick hairI like to use heatless curls and this definitely helps them hold and last longer. Moisturizing and keeps my hair healthy while controlling frizz.I dampen my hair and apply halfway down to my ends. Combing then distributes it to my roots. If I apply directly to my roots, it makes my hair a little greasy.Overall I love it and absolutely love this brand. There are very few brands that have this quality for the price and are non-toxic.

I really like this foam, it’s soft and plump on the hair and still provides definition. I have low density 3b/3c hair and fine hair strands so it’s really difficult finding products that work on my hair (plus I also have low porosity). I’ve tried volumizing foams from curls itch but they’re way too heavy for my hair and leave my hair feeling sticky when it’s dry but this one doesn’t!! My hair still feels super airy and there’s not really any “residue” feeling like how I’d get from other foams. The ONLY thing I will say is that it dries quickly in your hands and while you’re working it through your hair and when it dries while you’re still working it through your hair, there’s not much slip so I have been adding water to it in my hands, rubbing the water and foam together, then racking it into my hair and that usually does the trick! It doesn’t really have a strong and noticiable smell, it just smells like herbs which I love!ᵕ̈ it makes my hair last at least 4 days if I combine it with a gel or something to create a light cast on top of it. I use “i create volume” gel by innersense on top of the foam which creates that cast on my hair strands while also providing me any extra volume I need.

This - along with the sweet spirit leave in - have changed everything. I have coloured, thin but abundant wavy (2c) hair and up until 1 year ago I did not wear my natural curly hair. My journey included curl creams, gels, but results and styling was not always consistent (I had amazing hair one day and then awful the next one). Also, I struggled with this during summer time or at my hometowns tropical heat, as it became completely freezy and spongy. I noticed the difference immediately after using this products. My hair does not have frizz (I would say almost at all), it’s silky, best texture ever and I really feel like it’s finally natural and healthy. Love this product in defining curls, but a con is the terrible smell. I'm unsure what the smell is but it made my entire car stink after I got in it. It's very effective for the styling aspect, but if you have to be within 2 feet of someone I would find anything product to use.

I’ve used innersense stuff before and really liked it but this is my first time using this foam. It’s so light weight but holy cow did it make a difference! I have mixed hair texture, from 2b to 2c and this defined my curls wayyy more. Very little frizz too which i’ve never found a solution for
1.0 out of 5 stars Travel size leaks!!!
I like this foam, but the trial size container is TERRIBLE!! The product turns to liquid and leaks everywhere if you fly with it. What is the point of a travel size (and very overpriced btw) product that you can’t travel with. I actually have them the benefit of the doubt the first time and assumed I had a defective bottle. Bought the trial size again… and the exact same thing happened. Please fix this. It can’t be that difficult to make a travel size mousse that doesn’t leak. After all, other companies manage to do it.

Helps with hold and drying time! Drying time was so much faster for my thick hair . Find the cost for size very expensive but buying it anyway .
