I have taken phosphatidylserine for a few years to help with focus and clarity as an adult diagnosed with Asperger's/autism. I had used one of the major mail order brands with good results until product availability became an issue.After researching other options I came across Double Wood's version. Not only was it in stock and available, it was also much more economical than what I had been buying. Being made in the US was another plus for me. So I ordered a bottle through Bolo and gave it a try.After a week I knew I had found a new brand. Remaining on the same 300mg dose twice per day as I had been taking I noticed a marked improvement in focus and clarity over what I experienced with other brands of phosphatidylserine. Additionally I feel more energetic and productive both at the office and at home. I can't say for certain that it's from this supplement or not, but it's kept up since I've changed to the Double Wood brand.Besides the availability, affordability and results; I also like the fact that the capsules are not horse pill sized like what I was taking before. You do have to take two of these to get a 300 mg dose but that does not bother me a bit. I'd rather take two smaller capsules at a shot than one massive one.That being said, you do have to keep in mind that you must take two at a time for the 300mg dose, which means each bottle of 120 capsules actually contains 60 doses of 300mg. Could they have done better by not focusing on a 300mg dose when the capsules are actually 150mg each? Yes, they could have. However, if you read the label it doesn't take much to understand this. So even having to double up on capsules for each dose, it's still more affordable, and at least for me, more effective, than the bigger name brand that I had been getting. If you take phosphatidylserine I would not hesitate to give Double Wood a try.

This supplement was recommended to me when I was searching for relief for what turned out to be "Cortisol Awakening Response." Basically I was waking up in the middle of the night worrying uncontrollably about things. This really seemed to help. I no longer waking up worrying and having trouble falling back asleep. While I don't think this product was solely responsible for my improvement, I do think it helped a lot and I would recommend it to anybody experiencing the same thing. It takes a few weeks to start working.

I've been taking phosphatidylserine for quite some time now. I'm pretty young and live a healthy lifestyle but I want to keep my mind sharp as long as possible as my industry is always hiring new graduates and tends to push people out as they reach middle age. Since taking Phosphatidylserine I've noticed that my focus has improved and the time it takes to recall information has decreased. I'm taking classes after work and have noticed that I've had an easier time grasping new concepts and maintaining focus.

Pills turn yellowish
50% of the pills turn yellowish, less than 3 months after I open the bottle. I’m very careful of not touching the unconsumed pills. I do not get the consistent brain boost.
