As someone who lives in black lace and silence, matcha felt too soft for me at first — but this one has depth. The flavor is earthy, almost meditative, and smooth enough to drink without sweeteners. There’s something kind of grounding about it, like moss on stone or soft rain on pavement.The color is a beautiful, rich green — not dull or bitter-looking like some cheap powders I’ve tried. It blends easily, and when I froth it with oat milk, it feels like a little ritual. Calm in chaos. Bitterness and softness, balanced.This is the kind of matcha I’ll keep in a dark cupboard, next to my velvet teacups and dried roses. A gentle contrast to the heavy things I usually carry.Would definitely repurchase. Good quality for the price and perfect for quiet mornings or stormy nights.

I am still new to Matcha and this is my 3rd powder. I've had ceremonial grades in the past and wanted to try a culinary one. It is definitely not as refined of a taste as a ceremonial one but it does have a strong matcha flavor. It's just too bitter for me to enjoy without sweetener (where I usually don't sweeten my ceremonial matcha) I think this powder is great in a pinch and for cooking/ baking but is not ideal for a matcha lattes. I will probably get a different one and save this for baking (Matcha macarons or a matcha tea cake sound wonderful).

When I’m in the mood for matcha this hits the spot!!I bought this to mix with my beverages. It’s so delicious to put a touch of matcha in my chai lattes! I will buy it again.

I drink matcha daily and I have tried many brands since matcha has been such a high demand and getting very expensive. I just started to try as many brands I can to try...I gave it 4 stars for the super affordability and has a strong matcha flavor. However for me this matcha is only great for baking. It is just not the matcha that I am familiar and growing up with, and when I made matcha latte, it was way too bitter and bold tasting that I couldn't finish it. I made matcha lemonade with this and it came out okay with quite bit of agave nector. If you need some caffeine kick, this one delivers! What I like in matcha is mellowness and I wish this one had it, but i would probably end up spending 4 times more for the ones I desire ): But again, I would recommend this for baking for sure!

Color was good, and if you realize you are buying a cheaper product then all is great. It is a lower quality but that is what I bought, great for that everyday time with a great flavor. A little coarser than a few but again this is what I bought so am very happy with it considering that.

Brown bitter and bland. No signature matcha taste. I wouldn’t bother baking with it and can’t tolerate drinking it. Maybe a bad batch, because lots of good reviews so I am confused.
