I've gone through so many different electric kettles and this one is the best. It's the only one that doesn't accumulate a bunch of calcium buildup just after a few uses. I love it and high recommends it!

I love the look of this kettle. I like that one can use different temperatures, although they all see the same temperature. Unfortunately the kettle only lasted a few months because it melted my adapter and plug as I live in Singapore and apparently it isn't compatible, which was not made clear. The kettle also did shake too much and blow too much steam when boiling water. I am now using my old De Longhi kettle which I've had for about 6 years.

SMEG WARRANTY SERVICES
As per the photo, I have had condensation in the window of my kettle from the day I first used it. I can barely see where I am filling the kettle water level to. I tried leaving the cover fully open for over five days and it is still blurred.My issue is that I have been in contact with Warranty Services at SMEG, to get a replacement to NO AVAIL!The first contact via e-mail, they told me this is normal. I have owned many cheaper kettles thru the years and have never had a fill window full of condensation. I have since, e-mailed them numerous times to be told that it was going to Shane, a manager. I have never heard back again. I will never purchase SMEG products again. I do not mind paying for a product of supposedly higher quality, however, I do expect them to warranty their faulty products, that are at the higher end of the market. If you decide to buy SMEG products, be warned that you may not be guaranteed proper warranty services.

Very very beautiful, aesthetics,but I was surprised that the plastic lid had a plastic smell, not very pleasant. and the melody - you should know it has a melody when you press the buttons and when it boils =)
