The pump works smoothly, and the consistency is great, not too watery or sticky. I was wary of buying this hand sanitizer for several reasons, though none related to the negative reviews. Germ-X sounds so clinical and not...fun? Or assuring? Despite it literally being advertised as non-drying and moisturizing, I worried it would be, ya know, drying and non-moisturizing. Also, the color reminds me of slime, so I assumed it would be sticky, too, and the color also made me worry that it would have a strong and funky antiseptic smell. It was all a matter of me judging a book by its cover because I am happy to report that none of this was actually an issue at all!This hand sanitizer is, in fact, non-drying. Whether or not it actually moisturizes, I can't confidently say (I always moisturize after sanitizing anyway), but I CAN say that your skin feels perfectly normal after using it. It isn't sticky. It doesn't take forever to rub in.As for the smell, there's definitely the SLIGHT scent of antiseptic that lingers after use, but you have to lift your fingers to your nose and take a hearty whiff to actually smell it.I see a ton of reviews complaining about the bottle arriving poorly packaged and even damaged, but that wasn't an issue for me. In fact, there was tape wrapped so tightly around the area where the cap meets the bottle that it took me a minute or two to really tear it off. I appreciated the lengths the packager went to to prevent spillage.All this to say, if you sanitize often and are looking for a large bottle for home or the office, this is definitely worth the investment. Does the job, non-sticky, non-drying, and mostly scentless!

I like keeping a large bottle of hand sanitizer in my kitchen just in case I’m in a rush and need a quick clean. For a few years, I was consistently purchasing it from Target, but the price just keeps climbing, so I decided to look on Bolo. I came across this hand sanitizer from Germ-X, and the price was right, so I gave it a try, and I’m glad I did. Compared to Target’s Up&Up brand, Germ-X contains 8% more alcohol but is much less drying on my hands. It’s also cheaper, and you get more product. A large bottle of Up&Up hand sanitizer is $7.39 and contains 32 fl oz, while a large bottle of Germ-X hand sanitizer is $6.47 and contains 33.8 fl oz. It’s less than a dollar difference price-wise, but it contains almost 2 ounces more product, so it just makes sense to go with the latter. It smells just as hand sanitizer should (e.g., doesn’t smell like straight-up alcohol), and the pump works perfectly fine. I’ve had no issues whatsoever with this product. With all that said, I will be purchasing this hand sanitizer from now on.

We love this hand sanitizer and use this jumbo size as a refill. I have smaller pump dispensers of this in the driver side and passenger side doors of all of our cars and after the dog park, grocery shopping, the gym, etc. we use a pump to clean up. The aloe really helps not dry the skin, the fragrance is very light and it is not sticky like other similar products and it's often available on sale or for a great price. I highly recommend it!

The sanitizer is most beneficial . Keeps germs down and provides moisture to skin . Packaging of the product was flawed . Arrived with the product contents spilled out into the packing box . The pump insert was broken and had to be discarded . As packages are normally handled in a rough fashion , products being shipped should be packaged with full packing protection . A few pieces of circular cardboard around the pump spout would have added protection , and therefore made the contents of the package protected . Funds lost due to contents of product spillage into packing box .
