I use this product to help keep my vitamin D blood serum levels at optimum. When I was originally tested I was under 20ng/ml. It's very hard to optimize your D levels by sun exposure unless you live close to the equator. I live in an area that it's not possible to get vitamin D from the sun for 4 months out of the year. Researchers have done studies on D's affect on birth outcomes, several types of cancer and regulation of immune function. There have also been recent correlative studies suggesting having your D levels above 30ng/ml is beneficial if you catch COVID-19. Check out all the research on grassrootshealth.net. 48 vitamin D researchers recommend having your blood serum levels between 40ng/ml to 60ng/ml. The majority of people are not at 40ng/ml without supplementation. You can order a test from this site or talk to your Dr. about getting tested to see if you need to supplement. I've done both. I paid to get tested at my Dr. office as this test was not covered by my health insurance. I have also ordered a kit on-line to re-test and ensure my levels were going up and what the right amount I needed to maintain my level. I use NOW brand for other supplements as well and find NOW to be a good brand. I buy the 5,000 I.U.s because through testing this is what I need to maintain my level and find it easier to take 1 pill vs 5 pills per day. The 5,000 I.U.s is on top of the 1,000 I.U.s in my multi-vitamin so per day I take 6,000 I.U.s. I also have purchased the D3K2 spray by NOW. For those that might have a hard time with pills, it tastes great. I have noticed I don't get sick as often as others and I feel great. When I miss supplementing with vitamin D for awhile I can tell a difference in overall mood and energy level within a week or 2.

I couldn’t thrive without my D3 and K2. It’s so convenient to have them together in one pill. A lot of people don’t understand that you have to take them together or the D3 isn’t absorbed properly. I have found this brand to be reputable and a good quality. My integrative health doctor actually recommends this brand as well.

I love this product. I’m older and need a supplement for my bones. I find them easy to swallow and they do not upset my stomach. For better absorption take with a fat containing meal. I highly recommend this product!!

I have had extremely low vitamin D levels for years, like under 10, so I finally decided to try this brand. After a few months of taking this daily my levels are back up to a normal range, and I don't feel so fatigued as much. Capsule is kind of big, but not huge. Doesn't have a taste to me. Great quality.

My daughter requires a high daily dose of vitamin D for a genetic disorder and her doctor prescribed oral drops, which are cumbersome. I found these and they are a great replacement for her needs and has both vitamin D and the vitamin K it needs for absorption. We have these on subscription and it's been a huge help to just put these in with her weekly pill box instead of worrying about her missing her drops.
