Bought to add to protein drink. Read that it has health benefits. Tried jars of preground cardamom that had little to no flavor, and accordingly likely little benefit. Ran some of this through coffee grinder and this has much more flavor and likely benefits. Also cost less than preground.

This is my new, favorite spice. I hand grind it with a stone mortar and pestle. I mix it in with coffee grounds which has been a game changer. Itโs good in soups and baking. Love it!

When put in a grinder, these fresh seeds froth with the fiber of the seed, no husk, to form something with the texture of a hummingbird's nest, but with and aroma that is so intense it is startling.

I'm sure this is a perfectly legitimate and nice product, and it did arrive well-packaged, clean, and promptly. While all of that about the product itself is positive, I attempted to use it as a novice, and tried to crush it like you would black pepper. These little nuggets are hard! A few crushed, most didn't. That said, I added a few seeds to a small portion of my chicken soup, and proceeded to enjoy it.... well, until I crunched onto one of those little seed. Ha! They just aren't really fully to my taste, at least the way I used them.Now, not to be outdone, I used my trusty spice grinder and chopped them up. It's possible some were wasted, as I also put the results through a sieve and jarred it for future use. The larger portions, I threw in the trash. In the future, I will probably only purchase ground cardamon, but this did make a large spice bottle full, even though some portions were thrown out.All-in-all, I'd say this is a good product for those who understand its uses.
