The dogs don't seem to have a big problem with it, but I do hide it under some of the rest of their food. I bought this because I started to cook their food since they are such picky eaters. They don't seem to have a problem with this oil. I thought they would. I don't think it's been long enough for me to see the results up there coats but I know that having healthy oils is important for our diets as well as our pets.

This came in the mail just a few minutes ago. I fiddled around the label, scanned the included QR.. looked at puppers bowl, and no surprise, she didn't finish breakfast. I pumped a squirt into the remains and walked away. Which, by the way, makes it super easy to dose. To my surprise, the bowl was spotless when I came back. Picky Pyr apparently approves; it must taste pretty good to her! Which makes this a great, and cost effective switch over what I've been buying locally. As for health benefits, I am unsure. My pup has been on a fish oil for the last year and she's only a year and a half old, most of all because she's is a very picky eater and she will eat food topped with salmon oil. Everybody that comes in contact with her immediately comments on her softness. So, salmon oil in general must have it's advantages, especially for my great pyr. And she is indeed great! =)

I started using this product in the winter. After a solid six months, I have absolutely noticed a difference on both of my dogs. Their hair is softer, and shiny. I've subscribed to this product so I don't have to worry about running out.

4 stars only because the pumps are not accurate measurements.According to the product's directions my dog requires 5 grams/ml of product for her bodyweight. HOWEVER, one pump of this oil is only 2 grams/ml (at most); two pumps sometimes yields 3 grams/ml. I know this because I had to use my food scale to ensure my dog received the right dosage: I realized my dog was not getting the right amount because her itchy skin was not improving after several months.It was only after I started using a food scale to measure the oil that her itching finally came under control. That said, the product works. I'm in my second bottle and have tried several brands before sticking to this one.

Have been using this for many years, generations of dogs. I always feel better about supplementing food with vitamins and oil. No problem with skin, nice coats, fair price for the quantity. Seems to make the chow a little more appealing to them, too.

I adopted my cat 3 months ago and started using this salmon oil immediately. Ever since, her itchy and flaky skin has completely gone away. She even tolerated her flea and parasite drops much better because her skin isn’t dry anymore. Her coat is so shiny and healthy-looking now. She loves the taste, and I’m so happy to see her feeling comfortable and vibrant. Highly recommend this product for any cat with skin or coat issues!

I read all the reviews and followed the directions but my cat somehow can either smell or taste it in the food and he won't go near it.I do believe it is a good product, but I have no way to tell if it's not consumed.I started to add the tiniest amount in his food every other day and that seems ok for now, but he's not eating enough for me to give an accurate rating on the effects of the product

It comes with both a regular cap and a separate pump, which shows they actually thought about preventing leaks during shipping. I've received other liquid products with pumps that arrived messy or half-empty—but not this one. Purchased this for my 4 month old British Longhair kitten and he seems to LOVE it!😻He tends to take a pause in between eating but ever since I added this in his wet food, he finishes his food at one go, where he would then lick the plate for the salmon oil!I can’t tell how it works on my kitten fur yet as it’s still early days but the person whom I got the kitten from did fed him salmon oil (different brand) and the kitten fur is indeed soft and healthy. This is the reason I decided get him salmon oil.The item arrived all the way from the US intact. Bottle has a seal so that prevented the leak. The bottle also came in sealed plastic packaging - in case it still leaks, at least it won’t make a whole mess in the the delivery box.The pump works well for me so far; no dripping issue. The salmon oil colour looks good and smell fine; fishy as I expect a salmon oil would be (but not at all overly strong).Very pleased with this purchase so will be getting the big bottle next time.
