Got this as a gift for my girlfriend. She’s a little bit of a maple syrup snob. She doesn’t like using grocery store brands. I’m good with a bottle of aunt gemimma, but my girlfriend likes “real” maple syrup. She’ll grab a little $15 bottle of syrup when we visit NH, or she’ll spend a little extra when she sees “real maple syrup”. That being said she said this was the best syrup she’s ever had. She described the flavor as a “hint” of nuts. I tried some and didn’t get that impression. Keep in mind my girlfriend works admin in a corporate office and isn’t the Gordon Ramsey of breakfast condiments. I thought it tasted fine. Just as good as the little bottles she buys. It pours thin, which I guess is good?And for the price, you get a lot more than the little $15 bottles.

I used to buy Grade B maple syrup. Then they completely restructured the whole grading method and it's all Grade A, and what used to be called Grade B is now called Grade A Robust. But, it's not as robust as it used to be at all, and I have been so frustrated.So I was checking out Bolo on a whim before I went to Trader Joe's for some, and came across this very high quality looking syrup, at a lower price than the cheapest Robust grade one at Trader Joe's. So, realizing that I may be falling victim to fancy marketing and a very average, at best, product, I decided to give it a try.I am amazed at this syrup. Amazed. The character, the depth of flavor, the thickness, everything far exceeded anything that I've ever had before. It's everything that I've been missing since the new grading system, and much more. It's so good that I have been using it to make maple flavored everything, and went through the size bottle that typically lasts me about 6 months, in a couple of weeks and I just ordered two more. I want to try the Applewood Smoked variety next, for all of my savory applications.

This tastes great. It has a darker flavor, which I'm getting used to, because I already loved my grocery store shelf maple syrups. The bottle has a nice, elevated appearance. I feel a little bougie with it in my house.Someone else had some report of mold, and if it's really mold, you can't eat the maple syrup. The sugar content of maple syrup isn't high enough to prevent this after opening. Always refrigerate it. But I found a ring of whitish/cream around the top level of mine in this bottle. I rolled the bottle around to see what it was. They seemed to dissolve back into the syrup, and then reappear. This is what the internet said (from Canada, where they should know, I guess):White bubbles are air bubbles that can appear if syrup has been shaken, often during transport. The bubbles are completely safe and there is no reason for concern. The bubbles will disappear over time but it can take a while depending on how vigorously the bottles were shaken. If they bother you, you can easily skim them off.

My family loves this syrup. We first tried it from Costco however they stopped selling it and we refused to switch brands so started buying it on Bolo. The flavor is beyond comparison and we won’t buy another brand. It has the perfect consistency, quality and color. You can’t go wrong with this.

Amazingly Good
This maple syrup is worth every penny, you will never use any other once you've tried this. You need very little and as it is 100% natural I have no qualms whatsoever in using it. We'll be taking it with us to our local cafe for French toast. Would highly recommend this to everyone.
One of my two favorite go to maple syrups I use for waffles
I've tried a good number of maple syrups. There are only two that I use these days. Either this or MacDonald's 100% Pure Maple Syrup - Grade A Dark Amber. Crown's maple syrup is slightly more pricey but the other isn't available in Bolo.sg yet :D
