These are a steal at $99, but the price drop to $68 should be illegal. Awesome light. Powerful wash, adjustable kelvin and intensity with decent diffusion panels that do the job well. The light itself is built like a tank.I'm not a fan of the AC adapter - you may need a strain relief of some sort to prevent the cable from putting undue pressure on the adapter when it hangs on the stand (I used a wrap of velcro wrapped around the stand which works great), and I'm a little bummed when using the adapter you can't tilt the light at the ceiling (or floor) without unplugging the adapter. Not a big deal, just a minor quibble.Still, awesome light, with great quality and features for the price, comes in a cool carrying case small enough to put into a backpack. Also, the cable is super long - reaches to the floor and then some, which is much better than having an extension cord dangling from your stand. The fact that you can also use batteries is a fantastic option for run and gun shooting.I bought two of these lights, and if I need more, I won't hesitate to buy another or two or three.

I’m a professional cinematographer who works in the television industry & for Condé Nast brands such as Vanity Fair, The New Yorker, GQ, & Allure in addition to Hearst brands such as Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, Esquire, & Seventeen. I purchased this light as a relatively cheap addition to my portable kit but received a light panel that far exceeded my expectations in every regard.First off, this light panel was built far more durable than its price tag suggests & has a durable metallic body that feels much stronger than LitePanels & similar LED lights out there. At the same time, I can’t believe how lightweight this light is.While the package is nice, the results are even better. The lights draw out vibrant colors & pack a serious punch considering their ultra slim profile. This is the ultimate light panel for the videographer on the go or in need of a low wattage light source in the studio.Last but certainly not least, GVM has provided more follow-up support on their products than any other video equipment manufacturer I have encountered. Their prompt communication is second to none & I can’t imagine anyone being dissatisfied with this product.Highly recommended on all counts!

was impressed by the build quality of this led light and the power and color rendition, to have a bi-color light with good color at this price point is amazing, this one is the smaller of their models, I would like to try the bigger models and I hope the make a day balance only light, my only negative is that the leds protrude from the fame too much and there is no way to protect them a week in and three of the tungsten leds stop working and I have to reset them im place in order for them to work. note: in the pic attached the orange light is coming from the GVM bi color led light

I have been looking at online reviews of GVM lights for some time, and after one, in particular, I decided to look into owning one because the reviewer mentioned some features of the 480LS that caught my attention, that was last year.In early January, I noticed a second review from the same person of a 2019 version which could be remotely controlled by a smartphone! then I looked on Bolo and saw the price, I placed the order at once and even installed the app in my phone way before the light was delivered. Hands down this is the best video light I presently own! I have used it on one job already and it is the perfect light for shooting interviews (which I do a lot of) and the build quality, the fact it comes with a case and the quality of light it puts out, WOW! I am looking at the 560 led version next and I'm sure I will be buying more GVM products in the future.Great products great prices !!

I purchased a used like new with all original packaging, panel light. Received light with no power supply. I contacted GVM support by phone and email more than a dozen times and was told I would be sent a power supply. Four business days before return expires (because I followed up), I am told now I have no warranty on my purchase. I am also told If I write a review (I assume good or bad), support will send me a power supply. Sounds great, but now I cannot afford to receive a power supply and find out later the panel light does not work properly and end up paying for a broken light with no warranty. I so was looking forward to purchasing my first GVM panel light, to end up with so much frustration. I feel I have no choice but to return the light and figure out a new solution or a new company to purchase from. It sucks being the little guy and having to wasting so much time.Follow-upReceived power supply day after 30 day return died line. Did not know if they would or would not follow up or when. I felt I could not take a chance that the light would not work so I returned it at the last minunte. GVM was nice on the phone but as a customer I still experienced, Good Luck if you need help.

These lights aren't huge. They won't overpower the sun.What they *will* do, however, is give you the perfect way to augment existing natural lighting. We do a lot of shooting inside, and it's not always practical to set up full lighting. These small GVM panels let us do some amazing things in filling in interiors, and being bi-color means that we can nearly always match existing lighting.Plus, they're battery-powered with the cheap and ubiquitous Sonys, set up quickly, run cool, and take up almost no space in our kit with their included carry bags. No regrets in purchasing these.
