Very articulate and my son (2 1/2) loved playing with them (I did too) but he was definitely too tough for them. After the first day the tires were all falling off the rims and all the hydraulics were separating or broken.The details were really nice. I’ll probably buy them again when my son is a little older.They’re just fragile.

Received the item and the tape on the box was cut and opened the box to find sand on all three pieces, with compacted sand in the bucket that was extremely hard to remove. Also the excavator showed serious signs of use where the boom and been scraping against the window.

Had to return these items. They are perfect for detail and would add to a model train layout but do not give them to a three year old as they will be destroyed in no time. Main problem is the wheels. They just keep coming off. Way to expense for the poor quality.
