Only thing i didn't like it didn't come with replacement spools so u have to keep winding more cord on the same one spool or make sure u order replacement spools. Plus make sure u r ordering the right one cause most of them look alike but this one is different than most, it has a deep slot weel where it snaps back on. Sorry i haven't order a replacement spool or i would've put the # of the one to buy..

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Great trimmer with loads of power. But if you need an EDGER please buy a dedicated corded edger. Black and Decker makes one. I own it and it works great with a METAL BLADE. A string trimmer would never work for my yard with thick grass.The silly edging wheel was in the way of me seeing where I was trimming so I cut it off with my Dremel 3in circular blade.If all your chores are within 100 feet of your house consider converting to all corded tools. My only battery power tools are my drill and mini chainsaw.Edit: I also improved this tool by adding a 2 foot extension cord and securing it with wire ties. Doing this means you won't wear out the unit male plug. I bought the 2 foot extension cable on Bolo also and had to grind off about 3/32in on one side of the plug end to fit into the tool male plug slot. Easy permanent fix. I'm not sure why B&D didn't make this unit with a cord like they do with their other tools.

I've used this thing heavily 3 times now. I need a mower but haven't had the spare money for one yet so this is what I'm using! My yard is just under 1 acre. I'ma list some pros and cons I've noticed in my good use..Pros: it works.. really well! As you can see I live in Florida so grass grows super fast in our rainy season if I slack just 2 weeks oh my.. the power is strong, it's easy to work. Auto feed is a big help. I bought extra when I made this purchase I can go through about 1-2 rolls throughout the whole yard.Cons: the wire. It gets in the way so much and my large yard I use a 200 ft cord but that's not always enough so I can't complete my job completely but enough I'm happy with. When the auto feed is low i noticed it constantly over feeds the line and that honestly hurts sometimes! It's and easy fix but after doing it 5 times you're over it. Id just put a new one on but I feel that's just a waste.In the future I will be replacing mine to get rid of the wire.

I bought this weed Wacker 4 years ago in 2021 and it just now quit out on me. I will also add I don't have a garage/shed so it's been out in the elements this entire time. I hopped back on here to buy it again because it was a great deal and just realized I never left a review. I'm absolutely going to purchase again

I got it to replace a battery operated trimmer, also from Black & Decker. While the original trimmer worked fine, I realized I needed something more powerful to tackle my long neglected yard. Basically the "yard" has turned into a "field" because what grows out there is not lawn grass. Because I didn't mow it earlier this year, by the time I felt well enough to tackle the "lawn" with my new trimmer, the grasses were thick and as much as two feet tall. Two things I noticed right away: this trimmer is powerful, and it does not get "clogged" with the long stems in the areas where grass has gone to seed. I am writing this review because I needed to come online to check on how to replace the string. Based on reviews I read before purchase, I ordered three replacements spools. I am a 78 year old woman with some arthritis in my hands. It took me longer to open the package than to replace the string. So, yes, this trimmer goes through string MUCH faster than my last two trimmers, both battery powered and both used for several years on the original spool. No complaints. This trimmer does such a good job on the thick, tall grass in my yard that I am very glad I decided to switch to the corded model. .... It is also easier to use because it is lighter.

Waited u til i destroyed it. Today was the day. I have tortured this little weed eater and it was amazing! May she RIP and I just bought the same one today. I also have 10sq fr of property. I bought a strap for her as well. I bought the one that comes with the makeshift caddy and we’ll see how that works… can always throw it away.

Best of its kind I've tried so farPowerful, reliable. A lot good to say.I was able to trim about 3000 square foot lot with less than a half string roll, this machine is a weed eater, easy fit, string thickness is powerful enough to cut some small grass plants.

I just received and tried out this new string trimmer (BD BESTA510). It was easy to put together, good instructions, and worked fine.This model has the motor in the bottom part of the string trimmer, which makes it feel heavier and harder to maneuver, and actually strains my wrist a bit. My previous trimmer (B&D GH1000 ) had the motor in the top hand-held part, so the bottom part felt very light and easier to maneuver in comparison to this model and didn't strain my wrist at all.If I ever get a new string trimmer, I will look for models where the motor is not at the bottom.

Weed eater
I like the wheel for trimming, but I don’t like that there is only one string for cutting instead of 2 and the string therefore runs out more quickly and has to be restrung
Excelente relación calidad / precio
Me gusta que solo tenga 1 hilo. Así es más fácil de reponer el hilo, también la tapadera la mejoraron lo cual hace más fácil colocarla. La potencia del motor excelente!! Solo la he usado 1 vez durante 2 horas. Es importante en este tipo de productos darles tiempo de descanso cada 10 o 15 min dependiendo lo que la estés forzando.

Es una buena desbrozadora, potente para uso casero, solo que no tiene el cable de alimentación, a pesar de que en la caja lo indica.
