5.0 out of 5 stars They actually work!

    J.W. · February 22, 2018

Let me start off with saying I have been plagued with headaches, eyestrain, and migraines from computer screens and fluorescent lights since 2009. While doing research on these types of glasses I found the main brand was called Theraspecs and cost over $100. I was not willing to pay that much for something I didn't know weather it worked or not. I found these and decided to give them a try. I got them in yesterday and was snowed in today so I have been binge watching netflix all day. This is the first time I have not had a headache at all. I have worn them all day and no eye strain nor headache. I hope they perform as well at work as they have today. I am pleasantly surprised.I gave them a five stars but there is one flaw. They are very flimsy. The metal is very thin but at least it is metal and therefor very light weight. I am going to have to be very careful with them so I don't break them. But overall it is a sacrifice I am willing to make.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very classy

I love these glasses so much I bought two more pair and they are exactly the same glasses and quality as the ones I purchased a year ago (2024). I decided to write another review because when I purchased two additional pair I noticed that someone wrote a review and wrote that they didn't receive a case with their sunglasses. Well, both pair of my glasses came with a case and when I bought the original pair last year I received a case that time as well. I absolutely adore these high quality glasses. They are very light weight. Some people have written that they are too flimsy. If you are an adult and know how to take care of the things you buy I see no reason to be concerned. I don't write reviews too often, unless the product I buy is exceptional quality, such is the case with these glasses. I read a few unfavorable reviews, which honestly, I thought were totally incorrect. hat is why I'm taking the time to write an additional review since purchasing these fantastic sunglasses. So, I would highly recommend this puduct to anyone who wants to look stylish & needs them for night driving to reduce glare or migraines.Purchaed March 2024I have really bad migraines which occur every day excluding 1-3 days a month. I bought these & am very pleased with my purchase, although, wearing them helps reduce glare from my phone & tablet. Colors are clear & look very simular to original colors. There are many sun glasses at Len Crafters that are just as nice, but cost a few hundred dollars more. These sun glasses are extremely light yet sturdy & look very sleek & glamous. They don't prevent my migraines, but I sure look good while having them lol. I'm gong to buy another pair.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good for People who Suffer Photosensitivity

    M. · July 19, 2023

I have chronic vestibular migraines with severe photosensitivity. Indoor lighting especially fluorescent lighting will disorientate me. It's pure living torture, but these glasses make it more tolerable for me. The only issue I have with them is they are a little too small. I wish they offered more coverage around the eyes, but with that being said, they look good and do not look so much like sunglasses as tinted prescription lenses. If you suffer photophobia, it's worth a try. Keep on keeping on. I understand what you're going through.

5.0 out of 5 stars Pleasantly Surprised!

I am 49 years old and have suffered with migraines since I was 8. My current neurologist suggested I try these. I thought it was another one of those “hokey voodoo” ideas. Most of these glasses are well over $100, so I thought I would give these ones a try before investing $100+. I am AMAZED at the difference these glasses have made with my light sensitivity migraine triggers. The most noticeable is around fluorescent lighting and computer screens. I even wear them to drive on cloudy days when my polarized rose tinted glasses are too dark. WISH I KNEW ABOUT THESE SOONER!!! Definitely worth the 60 bucks and Bono jokes from my kids and family!

3.0 out of 5 stars Work OK But Flimsy

    J. · March 4, 2019

I was expecting better quality for $48. While they seem to work OK for glare that can cause migraines, the frames are very cheap. The metal can easily bend out of shape. And there was no case. I got a case with reading glasses that cost less than $15 here on Bolo, but these did not come with one. They need a case, since the frames are cheap, and can bend too easily. So, now I have to go out and find a case to fit them.

1.0 out of 5 stars These do not work

    A.C. · September 15, 2018

These are nothing like the name brand migraine glasses. I broke my Theraspecs and thought I would save a few dollars and give these a try. You get what you pay for. Although these are not even worth this price. They did not filter the light or glare from screens at all for me and especially did not give visual relief the way other name brand products do. A waste of money

5.0 out of 5 stars Performed as described .

    D. · December 31, 2018

I was recommended FL 41 lenses in order to get some relief from my chronic migranes . I ordered those ones because the price is good and reviews seem legit. I must admit i was impressed with the quality , because they are super lightweight and you do not feel them on your face . Second , just after few hours my eyes were not dry , i dud not feel tgat fatigue i used to feel before by the lunchbreak, that would lead the pain . So from them day 1, they performed as described . So highly reccomend for those suffering from chronic migranes .

    Performed better than expected!

    N.N.L. · July 4, 2019

Troubled with frequent migraines from overly bright office halogen lights, a solution had to be found or even giving up a beloved career was in the offing. In came these incredible light diffusing glasses. Not sunglasses, these glasses just remove the glare from harsh indoor lights but not the brightness. I have exceptionally good vision but can see even better with these wonder glasses on. Few and far between are products that match what the product write up suggest but let me tell you these glasses are better than expected and do more than even the company who makes them suggests. The best purchase I have ever made and I can't recommend them enough. My Rating: 500 stars

    Lenses Fog Easily

    M. · September 20, 2021

+ AR Coated+ Sleek lightweight frame+ Tint is just the right intensity+ Well fitted- Because the lenses are so small and contoured they fog from contact with my eyelashes after severaldays of wearing them.

    They really do work! Update

    A. · May 30, 2019

The rest of my review here still stands, but I need to add that, after using them for quite a while now, the sides that go over your ears have loosened so that they now fall off every time I bend forward. I do have quite a small head, so this may not affect everyone,so I still think they deserve four stars.I bought these because I get vertigo from spending time under white fluorescent and LED lights such as those used in most public buildings, classrooms and supermarkets now. I have been finding that these glasses really do help and are fine in situations where I don't need to wear my glasses. but would be perfect if they were also available in a frame that fits over prescription glasses, For me, too, they are slightly too big, but I happen to have quite a small head, so they tend to slide off when I bend over. Aesthetically, they are very smart, and the frames and lightly-tinted lenses are quite elegant, so much so that I've even had people take an interest in them because they like the look of them on me. They are excellent value too.

Light sensitivity glasses are pretty good!

    L. · September 22, 2020

The glasses feel a little flimsy for the price, but they definitely help alot with light sensitivity. You actually forget you are wearing them after a while. Overall, they do what they claim to be able to do, and I highly recommend this product for anyone with light sensitivity issues (post-concussion symptoms for example).
