I've been buying a lot of candles lately some cheap, some mid priced and wanted to try one a little more expensive to see if there is value there. First, this candle is very small, like 2 3/4 inches tall. The good news is that the packaging ( box and glass ) is gorgeous. The smell is a 10 out of 10 to die for warm leather study with a fireplace burning. Very homey for the winter. The scent, even in this tiny candle fills every room in my apartment. No kidding. It also burns more evenly and longer than every other brand of candle I've bought in the past. I'm only halfway down the candle and burned it for around 15 hours so far. I was so impressed with this scent and brand that I just ordered the 3- wick 21 ounce candle. I'm a little worried it will overwhelm my apartment but I think you can just light one wick and not all three.

I purchased the Nest Hearth 2oz votive for myself. I have purchased Yankee in the past but have been disappointed in recent years and feel they don’t have the strong scent that they had in the past. So decided i decided to try other candles. Some candles had an ok smell but the candle itself didn’t burn well. The votive size was a nice way to check out Nest. I love the masculine scent of Hearth It’s a cross between a men’s cologne and a log on the fire. This little candle perfumed a large room. Honestly, it is sitting next to me unlit and the scent is strong. I’ve had it lit for 2 hours and it barely looks like it was used. So far I am very impressed and won’t be wasting my money on other scented candles.

I ordered 2 Nest candles as a thank you gift. Both were fragrances I had never smelled before and was quite excited to try them. The Holiday candle was nice enough though my friend was thrilled to receive it. It was the larger more expensive candle that was the disappointment to me. I ordered Velvet Pear. In the past any time I ordered a candle with pear in it it would be a light, refreshing fragrance. Instead my friend was sent another fragrance -I don't remember now what it was called but it certainly wasn't light or refreshing. It was one of the scents that was heavy, and cloying.The thing that upset me was that I ordered it correctly. And the delivery ticket had the right name on it. But obviously it wás pulled wrong. An error on Bolo not me.When I called customer service I was in for another disappointment. I don't know what has happened to Bolo customer service in the last year or so, but Bezos, you need to know it's gone way downhill. It used to be if there was an error like this Bolo would send out another whatever to immediately rectify the problem. Immediately. You were fair and responsive. So even though I would get aggravated at times that Bolo was the only game in town, your customer service made it worthwhile. Now, mey....My friend was leaving for Europe the next day. And I was flying home. Neither one of us had the time to return a candle neither of us wanted to a UPS store and I was out $45+. All because why? You're trimming costs on goodwill customer service on orders you screwed up? Way to go.

I'm in love...with this gorgeous candle!! The glass holder has a design that is stunning and the scent is perfect...not too strong, nor too weak! It definitely brings a special design element to my home while it sits on my coffee table. Simply beautiful and worth every cent!

Not my Favourite
I am a big fan of Nest candles and I would have to say this fragrance is my least favourite. If you are partial to very light scents then this may appeal to you. The actual scent is very pleasant, I just can barely smell it. One thing I love about Nest candles is that even when they are not being used, you can still smell them. This candle I can barely smell when it is lit. Disappointing.
Horrible scent
Nice jar but horrible scent. I can’t even use it and want to use it to at least get the empty jar out of the money I wasted on it. I can’t describe the smell. Sort of like Pesto. I’m going to use it outside on the deck so it doesn’t stink up my house. Burns good though. One star each for performance and jar. Zero for the scent.

Product is good, love the smell. Just the packaging is really bad, frosted glass comes in a black box.. If you’re buying their candle as gifts , make sure you get the one with gold patterns. AVOID FROSTED GLASSES
