DEAR TOOTSIE ROLL: THANK YOU FOR OFFERING THIS DELICIOUS CANDY AT SUCH A GREAT PRICE FOR US HERE ON Bolo. PLEASE DO NOT RAISE THE PRICE OR LOWER THE AMOUNT IN THIS BIG BAG - we need some great candy at a decent price and THIS IS IT! I received my candy yesterday and opened it today....so soft (TOOTSIE ROLLS) and totally fresh (BOTH CHARMS and TOOTSIE ROLLS) - it is not easy to de-code the freshness date on the bag, but I did not need to. It tastes like it was made yesterday! I sorted out my TOOTSIE ROLL candy - Chocolate vs fruit flavor and put the ones that are wrapped in folded wax paper into SEALED FREEZER BAGS so they STAY FRESH! YES, there is mostly CHOCOLATE, but also OVER 1/3 are FRUIT CANDIES - it is a perfect mix and true to what the bag states is in the mix. OF course, I have my candy dish next to the TV with some TOOTSIE treats for all.DEAR TOOTSIE CUSTOMERS: HI! I am one of you and have a suggestion on what to buy.... In my opinion, the TWO best CANDY BUYS right now (online or in-store) are the 400-COUNT CHARMS MINI-POPS from TOOTSIE ROLL (beats COSTCO by a few cents) and the 5-LB bag of CHILDS PLAY. Do like I did and BUY BOTH! GREAT FLAVORS in MINI-POPS and you can give the ones with flavors you may not care for to the kids and their parents in the neighborhood. I ALWAYS have some on-hand to give to neighbors and kids when walking my dog.If you think there is not enough fruit flavor in the CHILDS PLAY, the bag of MINI-POPS balances everything out and gives you a wonderful lower-calorie HARD candy addition – ONLY 60 calories in THREE (3) pops (because they are so small).Just be sure to put the candies in freezer bags - and IF you have room - into the freezer. I do not have freezer room AND have had 1 bag of 400-count CHARMS mini-pops for almost 2 YEARS in a cabinet by my TV in sealed zip-top bags and MORE in a sealed candy dish – with only a couple left, hence reason for this purchase. They are NOT gooey yet and surprised at this!I have not had tootsie rolls for a few years and thought some chocolate might be a good add-on to the lollipops.Enjoy this GREAT DEAL from TOOTSIE ROLL....I sure am.

So let’s get down to business. First the total number of pops that I received was more than the 400 advertised (408 to be exact). All of my pops came well wrapped. If all 18 pops were to be divided evenly into the 400 count that would average about 22 per flavor (22.22222 to be exact). I did not receive an even mix.Here is a list of the 18 flavors and how many of each was received. Root Beer (36), Cherry (26), Watermelon (6), Tropical Fruit Punch (15), Strawberry (44), Strawberry Lemonade (30), Apple Pie (32), Bubble Gum (0, yes zero), Birthday Cake (32), Orange (32), Mango (26), Orange Cream (33), Banana (22), Limeade (23), Green Apple (1, yes one), Cotton Candy (2, yes two), Blue Razz (22), and Grape (26)All in all, The value for this many pops is excellent so I can’t find too much fault, just wish there was a better distribution. I mean they are only 3 cents per pop!
