These single use lancet devices are so simple to use, and most of the time, painless or very minimal discomfort, and always gets me the drop I need to test my glucose levels. I typically carry them for emergencies, when I need to lance quickly, such as I suspect I have hypoglycemia, and feel too shaky to load and use my regular lancet device included with my glucose meter. As always, these are considered medical sharps and must be disposed of properly.

I will start by start by saying that I like this item, as I barely feel this item poking my finger, but at first thought, I was not getting enough blood, or any blood at all with this version to work with my glucose monitor. I found that after a little trial and error, I could get the right amount of blood to work with my glucose monitor. I find that after poking my finger that I may need to massage the area just below this area and that I will get a drop of blood that often is just enough to get an accurate reading with my glucose monitor. In all, I am pleased with the results and glad that I did not give up on this item.
