He is usually a bit hard on toys. He likes trucks to do the jobs they are meant to do. That means digging in dirt and moving stones. He was very excited about this.

Don't buy this. The excavator arms are cheap plastic. A kid will break this vehicle after an hour's use. The cab doesn't have full range of motion -- it hits limits at about 160-degrees rotation. Tracks are rubber, but fit loosely on the rollers. I'm giving this away to Goodwill. I've seen better vehicles at Dollar General.

Clearly advertised as Die Cast. Die Cast means cast in metal. This toy is 100% cheap plastic and very easily broken. Nothing more than your typical cheap Chineese junk. Avoid.
