THE FRATELLIS - In Your Own Sweet Time - Vinyl LP - In Your Own Sweet Time is the fifth studio album by Scottish rock band, The Fratellis. The album was originally released on 16 March 2018. After touring the 10th anniversary of their debut album Costello Music, the band started work on their fifth studio album. Flying out to Los Angeles to reunite with the producer of that album, their previous album Eyes Wide, Tongue Tied as well as Jon's solo Psycho Jukebox, to record for six weeks. Taking with them only 12 songs, the fewest they have taken to record with, the band eventually returned home to play shows over the summer period, before announcing the album in November 2017, with a March 2018 release date.

But this album is outstanding. I've listened to it at least once a day since I got it last week. Some days twice. The best songs on the album and Stand Up Tragedy, Starcrossed Losers and I've Been Blind. But every song is great on this album.I can't stop listening to it.

Great album, Great songs. I have been listening to the Fratellis for years. But then I bought this new CD from them. WOW is it great I have listened to it every day since I received it. Not since Jellyfish have I liked a CD this much. It is different then the other CD's they have put out. They should get WAY more recognition then they receive. Real people playing real instruments no out tune or bass or drum computer tracks. Why do we have a great pop band like the Fratellis and all I see is these Terrible bands shoved down our throats. Good God America wake up and get out from under the mass produce corporate artist and music being thrown at us. There is good stuff out there and this CD is one of them. BUY IT NOW !!!!!!!!

Great album from a great band! This collection of new tracks is unmistakably characteristic of the band's musical styles but with a modern twist that is evident in the evolution their music has had over the years. It really seems like the band put this album together for the love of the music, as the overall aura it gives off is fun; it doesn't seem over-produced at all. The last two tracks, admittedly, didn't do very much for me, but everything else I thought was fantastic!

Every album of theirs seems to be different in the overall tone/feel. Some might say this is more pop sounding, but I think it still has the Fratellis feel to it. It took a couple of listens, but I really love the album and am glad that they aren’t sticking to the same sound for album after album. It’s just the right amount of different, while keeping the humor and whimsy that a real Fratellis fan would be on the lookout for.

The vinyl came in perfect condition. They actual record is a more see through orange rather than a solid color. As for the actual music on this album, I have to say it's really great. The Fratellis have made each album have their own unique sound and this one is no exception. I was super excited for this after they released a few singles so perhaps I'm biased but I generally have no songs on this album that I dislike.

Ich bin erst vor einigen Wochen auf die Band aufmerksam geworden und war gleich geflashed. Bei Bolo Costello Music bestellt und total begeistern gewesen - von eigentlich allen Nummern. Im Gegensatz zu der CD erstreckt sich meine Begeisterung bei "In Your Own Sweet Time" nicht auf alle Nummern. Da sind ein paar dabei, die bei mir als "Ganz ok, aber nicht wirklich" durchgehen. Aber die Hälfte der Nummern sind so gut, dass die alleine die CD lohnt. Und ein paar davon finde ich dermaßen gut, dass die gleich für mehrere CDs die Bewertung rocken würden. Bei "I’ve Been Blind" kann man vom Glauben abfallen - das macht auch nach zig Mal anhören Gänsehaut und auch "Sugartown" oder "Stracrossed Losers" haben das Potential für eine Nummer-1-Position in den Charts - auch wenn kaum jemand die Nummern kennte.
