Opening up another Barney’s almond butter that we always enjoy and it’s a one large hard clump with oil on the side. This is happening more often than not. Did you change your formula? We shall try it a few more times and if nothing‘s changed and it doesn’t go back better to what it was last year then it’s a arrivederci… so long… bye-bye.Update 5/27/2025 Ahh… much better, we received a new shipment of Barney butter and upon opening found it to be perfect. Thank you Barney. We love you again, keep up the good work. Your back up to five stars in our book.

Tastes good. Didn’t have to stir a lot. Not much oil, or salt, and the seal was difficult to get off. Good Value for money. Easy to spread.

I am addicted to this brand. Finally found a smooth version of almond butter. There isn’t any oil in the jar which is great and it goes on my rice cakes smoothly. As you get closer to the bottom of the jar it doesn't appear to be less smooth and is chunky but that just reminds me to order another jar. I buy one at least once a week.

Good taste, but TOO thick. It is so thick it is nearly impossible to spread. I put contents in a glass jar and heated for one minute in microwave. Then I added 1/4 cup of avocado oil, and mixed very well. It is now a very spreadable consistency.

My son had a hospital guided almond challenge to see if he was still allergic or if he could start to incorporate almonds into his diet. Due to his allergy to other tree nuts and peanuts we had to get something that was guaranteed to be free from cross contamination. This was the only product I found which fulfilled this requirement. Thankfully my son passed his challenge.This product however was expensive at £18:95 for a small jar, but was a necessary purchase. It also arrived almost a week late from the expected delivery date, which might have been a problem if I needed it for his challenge in hospital by prearranged appointment and not a challenge at home as this was.Overall I would recommend for a food challenge, but order well in advance of an appointment.
