The texture was not that great, but, more importantly, these tasted bad - they had a weird bitter taste that gets more unpleasant the more I try to eat them. Some people might attribute this to "healthy ingredients", but I can't tell that the ingredients are any healthier than regular cheezits.Mine were not expired, nor was there soap in my package like some of the other reviews said. The only thing I can think of is that the sunflower oil may have oxidized - this is when the polyunsaturated fats go rancid, like if you've ever had whole wheat flour that's been at room temperature for too many months, which leaves a bitter off taste like this.Cheezits use a mix of palm oil (will not oxidize quickly) and soybean oil (does oxizidize quickly), while these used "expeller pressed sunflower oil" (extremely prone to oxidation in this 'virgin' form, needs to be fresh but is somewhat healthier than palm or soybean if it is fresh). Regular cheezits also contain a scary sounding 'industrial' chemical called TBHQ which delays oxidation, while these don't appear to, meaning they will go rancid faster than cheezits.This could explain why some people are happy with theirs - they got theirs while the sunflower oil was still fresh, while other people got it before the sell by date but after the oil oxidized. That is a theory anyway. Regardless I will be throwing these out and not getting them again. I would rather eat TBHQ in safe quantities than something nasty tasting and rancid.

So much better than any other brand cheese crackers or fish or whatever. Addictive & fantastic in tomato or taco soup, when actual shredded cheese would be too stringy.
